My whole family loves this place! We’re NYC transplants and these are the best bagels around! Mama’s catered a big family brunch after an affair we held and provided beautifully presented trays of bagels and nosh and fruits platters that were perfect. The fruit was incredibly fresh and delicious as were all the bagels and fixings. We stop in weekly for bagels to bring home as well as orders to go. The employees are always lovely and the food comes fast! Even their selection of meatballs and other prepared foods are great.

Mama’s Bagels in New Milford are, hands down, the best bagels I’ve ever had and I don’t say that lightly!!
They are incredibly fresh every single time: perfectly soft and fluffy on the inside with that ideal, slightly crunchy exterior that a real bagel should have. I genuinely crave these bagels. Once you’ve had Mama’s, other bagel spots in town just don’t compare.
If you’re even remotely serious about bagels, this place is a must. Absolute gem.

Aye t̾e̾r̾p̾y̾fam ya guy slid up on MB’s to spin out on a beggel n see if this spot was legit, being a new yorker this is right in my wheelhouse.
The verdict: pretty good.
Are they the best bagels I have ever had? No but they are the best one’s around within a 30min radius, no question!
Will be back to do a proper vid for them as they deffo deserve more rizz… i mean a hot cheetos bagel!? Like cha’mon where ya going to find that? N they have salads and sammiches that look really fire too.
The bagels are a good size and have a nice proof, not too bready and not too dense. Snd seeded on both sides (bonus rizz) My only knock is a need to tweak the boil just a bit so that crusty crust really forms when baked off. Outside of that these are a proper salty round.
Coffee is just OK, its a basic drip pot so cest la vie.
Looking forward to trying more specialty flavors and cream cheese combos in near future and so should you! Support local!!

Go for the bagels, come home with everything! I personally love the fresh bagels. Best in New Milford. And Mama’s offers so much more than bagels. Quite a selection of delicious items breakfast, lunch, take home meals, and desserts. Really a hidden treasure. You could be buying food here fresh made instead of stale anywhere else. Mama’s bagels catered the brunch the day after our daughter’s wedding and did a magnificent job. They were courteous, efficient, accommodating, and lovely. They delivered coffee, bagels, a selection of cream cheeses, fruit salad, and muffins, on time and with all the accoutrements. The food was excellent, the service impeccable. Everybody enjoyed the high quality of the food and the lovely presentation. Thank you for making the special day so special. I highly recommend!!!

Just hit this place for the first time… OMG, it is bangin’! Bagelman got nothing on this place. Pretty small, modest store front, but dang… SO GOOD! Took home some Flamin’ Hot Cheeto Mozz Sticks I can’t wait to try. Definitely worth checking out. I saw an Everything Egg Bagel that is next on my list.

Went in today and ordered the most amazing omelet you can get in New Milford! This place is amazing. The workers are polite and helpful, the food is priced well and super tasty! The best bagels I’ve ever had and the atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. Definitely a hidden gem in CT and worth a stop for anybody local or not. Also don’t forget to grab a churro on the way out!

Everything bagel was Delish! These are way better than Bagelman for sure! Reuben sandwich was amazing but I would add mustard next time. We will definitely be going back here.
