Farm to table restaurant off I-75 serving farm fresh breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s a small and cozy space that is very inviting.
Our server was Alissa, she was welcoming and friendly.
Today we ordered a Reuben with sweet potato fries and a chipotle black bean burger with zucchini fries. The Reuben was one of the best we have had, and the black bean burger was just as amazing and had a nice kick to it. The fries were crispy and delicious.
They have several condiments on the table, including a jalapeño ketchup and also a bacon ketchup.
Baked goods and treats? We came to the right spot. They have about 8 flavors of fry pies, several large pies to choose from, muffins, donuts, and cookies. Some of these treats are Amish made.
They also have a little store set up in the entryway offering frozen meats, ice cream (grass fed Michigan cows), and frozen ice cream treats. There are some dry soup mixes, flavored maple syrups, real farm fresh milk in glass bottles, and a lot more!
Outside they had some seasonal pumpkins and gourds along with mums, cornstalks, and bails of hay.
10/10 worth the stop!

Great place. Home cooked meals , healthy options , country cooking, and vegan options too.
Service staff were great, very welcoming . Erin took good care of us.
They have some good selections in jelly, syrup, soup, and other items too.
The bakery looked delicious with home made pies, cakes etc. We were too full to partake.
My sister told us how good it was . It did not disappoint.

Super easy five star! I can’t believe I’ve never heard of The Farmers Table! The atmosphere isn’t super exciting, but the food, service and prices are! Most/all ingredients are farm fresh.

They are open for 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner – and they have specific menus for each (you can’t get breakfast for lunch). FYI – They don’t serve alcoholic, in case that’s a deal breaker for you…

Food was soooooo good. This lunch stop is on my list of favorite places to stop on my way to the UP. So cute too. I got a giant locally made pumpkin roll to go.

I wanted to like it. The atmosphere feels weird. It feels like you walked into the back of a restaurant kitchen and are seated in it. It’s way too hot, I needed to drink a lot of water just to keep comfortable in there. There were three waitstaff. The one that greeted us seemed like a family member of the restaurant/ teenager that was very unhappy to be there. Her attitude was awful and when she would ask us if we wanted something and we would say yes, she would make an annoyed face then turn and walk away ignoring our answer of yes please more coffee. The energy there felt like we were inconveniencing them. The food wasn’t great. The only meal that was any good was the waffle. The eggs were good and the cream was good but they don’t include the price of cream for coffee, makes no sense being a farm to table restaurant and have to ask for and pay extra for cream. Happy to pay extra for real cream, it makes more sense to offer it and include in price of coffee. The potatoes in the skillets tasted like frozen bag potatoes and were cooked too long. The gravy sauce has too much sage flavor and the onions are so undercooked that it ruins the meal.

Today we tried this restaurant and it did not disappoint!! From the second that we walked in, We were greeted by everyone and they were super warm. The music was going. The cook was singing. Everyone just felt genuinely happy to be there. Our waitress suggested the breakfast burrito that was on special which was excellent and we left with the delicious jalapeño ketchup. We will definitely be coming back. Great food. Great service great time.

Amazing farm to table restaurant with a store selling goods from meat to jams and deserts along with seasonal wild flowers. The food was absolutely amazing and good portions. Most food items are locally sourced and provided making the meals the homemade taste you are looking for. Be patient with the small wait and your food will be amazing.

We had lunch at this conveniently located restaurant, just off I-75. My husband had “the world’s best Reuben” and he doesn’t recall ever having better. I enjoyed my Monte Carlo sandwich with pepper cherry jelly. Service was excellent. They also have several vegan offerings.

Omg what a hidden gem! We got set at a table with direct view into the kitchen.. not only were they super busy, but the cook clean as he went and we were delighted with his singing. It hands down makes a visit when the staff clearly enjoys their job. It’s our new favorite breakfast spot. Keep on jamming my man… you got a great voice.

A true gem worth stopping at, whether you’re heading north or heading back. I absolutely loved the food — fresh, made with care, and featuring farm-to-table ingredients. I wish there were more places like this.
