Paper Plate BBQ is such good food that we forgot to take photos and dove right in. We had the brined turkey half order, coleslaw, and bbq beans. The Turkey was tender with lots of great smoke flavor. The coleslaw was spot on. The bbq beans was a good pairing with the meat. The beans do come with cheese so ask to remove this for a dairy free option. The cornbread comes with a healthy amount of butter. The chef was very friendly and cool and was helpful navigating the menu.

We decided this Thanksgiving to have Paper Plate BBQ deal with the bird. Best Turkey we have had yet! We did 3lbs of breast, 4 legs, 4 thighs and 4 of their ham sausage links. BBQ so damn good makes you want to slap your mama! Highly recommended!

First time at Paper Plate BBQ. I wanted some brisket. Ordered a half pound to go. Staff was ok, not great… I found them a bit less than friendly, or so it seemed.
Brisket was ok… it was very fatty, not well trimmed prior to the cook. I like fatty moist brisket, but for the price… a better trim, more meat… would have been nice (see attached photo)
It did have a nice smokey flavor… and I might eat there again.

I’ve been meaning to try this place forever and finally managed to get down there today with my wife. I was not disappointed.
I got the brisket. The brisket was so tender I could barely touch it with a plastic fork and bit basically melted off the main piece. Easily the best brisket I’ve ever had.
My wife got the cumin spiced pulled pork sandwich. We didn’t notice the part on the menu that mentioned the cumin spice when we ordered, so we were both surprised by the flavor, but in the best possible way. The cumin and other seasonings give it a nice little taco place that plays insanely well with their bbq sauce.
We split the taters gratinadas. They were cheesy, Smokey, and the crema on top had a nice had a nice little spicy kick in some bites.
I enjoyed the cornbread muffin. The whipped honey butter is magical. The muffin itself is good, but stood out the least of anything we had.
I can’t say they’re the best bbq in the area because I haven’t tried every other place that does it. But I will say, I can’t imagine anyone else doing it better.
Update as of 10/22/2025: If you’ve not heard, they’re doing some breakfast food a few days each week during the early part of the day.
Got down yesterday to try it for the first time. My wife and I both got the Mr. 107 tacos (brisket, crispy cheese, verde salsa, cilantro, fried egg, homemade beef tallow flour tortillas) and one of the sweet & spicy breakfast sausages. All of it was great.
On my way out, the owner ran out of the cart to ask how we liked it, and was kind enough to hook me up with a half serving of the biscuits and gravy (scratch made beef tallow drop biscuits).
I’ve gotten to know the owner a bit over the at few months – he’s an awesome guy who just wants to make great food for his customers.
It’s all top-notch and worth checking out. One of the best places to eat in the state.

Oh my this place was phenomenal, I had been craving some BBQ for some time now and they satisfied that craving today. We got the Mac and Cheese and Cornbread for our sides and they both were delicious! The honey butter was a nice touch on the Cornbread and the mac and cheese stole the show for me. The brisket was perfect paired nicely with their spicy and sweet BBQ sauce. The ribs were probably the most flavorful ribs I’ve ever had and we both agreed was our favorite. The pulled pork was amazing and paired really well with the mac and cheese. Overall everything we got tasted good and was cooked perfectly. 10/10 and the guys were really nice, Keep up the good vibes and delicious BBQ! Absolutely will return

I dont know about yall but this was the best bbq ive had in town. I usually make my own smoked meats but was delivering wine next door and stopped in and the owner Isaiah was friendly, knowledgeable and just a genuine person which isnt as common as it use to be. The pork belly taco was bussin! The coffee was incredible its pacori coffee so didnt expect anything less. The sauces were extremly good and HOMEADE! The brisket is juicy, tender and reminded me of when i went to texas. Off the charts customer service and i highly recommend you try this place its easily the best in town for bbq. Good luck man and thanks for the great food and conversation!

Absolutely superb barbecue. You can’t get any better even in Memphis Tennessee. It’s simply delectable. No matter what you ordered you’re gonna order right. The only thing I can say is I don’t love the sides. I love the pickles and I love the bread, but I don’t love the sides. Fortunately, those come with each order. Enjoy!

Good BBQ… beyond strange service. Ordering at the counter, pointing out the cute dog of an another customer when asked by the person working “do you like little dogs?” I said yes. They followed up with “no one likes you”, I kept smiling and walked away. Then came time to get our food any they kept up with the odd rhetoric justifying their comments as they are “a big dog person”.
For one, why does liking big dogs mean you automatically dislike little dogs? Then if you dislike little dogs why does that mean the people who do like them are “unlikeable”? Also just baffling to insult a customer and then another customers dog all in one interaction. I guess my sense of humor is not refined enough to enjoy being insulted while spending my money?
