A few things have changed quite a bit since my original review. For one, Tony’s is under new management, and the current owner is a truly wonderful, friendly, likeable guy. Secondly, my wife has started working a few shifts here and there, so I’ve been spending a bit more time here, and my opinion of Tony’s has improved significantly as a result.
It’s still a cash-only bar, but the place has started to take on a Cheers-esque vibe, where everybody knows your name…and each other’s, as well. There’s a regular crowd of quirky characters from all walks of life who, like stray cats returning to the house that feeds them, can be found here at almost any given hour of the day, and usually hanging out with one another, in some configuration.
Drinks remain cheap, and strong, and the bar is much better stocked: even some uncommon cocktails that you can’t get at other bars can be mixed up here, such as my favorite, the Rusty Nail (using Drambuie, which few bars seem to stock), so even old curmudgeons like myself can be accommodated.
In short, Tony’s is a neighborhood bar that has finally started feeling like one, and that’s a welcome change. I’m told there are plans for renovations and new features coming in the foreseeable future, which will hopefully will be well-received, and bring in new faces, to join the ragtag band of scoundrels (myself included) that have begun to call this place home.

The blond bartender who works the night shift is absolutely wonderful. She is my favorite bartender. If i ever make plans to go grab a couple drinks or play video poker I will literally drive completely out of my way if i know she is working. She is wonderful to talk to. She remembered my name the second time i went there. She just makes the vibe of the bar so much more than any other bars I’ve been too. I went in a couple times when another bartender was working the night shift, she was a brunette and she was very snappy and i didn’t want to be negative but she seemed really ditzy or sorry to say but maybe a little intoxicated in my opinion. But other than her. GREAT BAR!!!

It’s a nice little bar with a nice atmosphere. They have pool tables and video poker. The service we received was great and let’s face it customer service has seriously gone downhill… especially since Covid! The Friday and Saturday night time blonde bartender Wendy is amazing! She was friendly, funny and makes some damn good drinks! We had a great time and will definitely be repeat customers! Thanks Wendy!

I’d not recommend coming here. It is cash only and there are no signs on the door or windows. They have what looked like johnnt cash pictures that said cash only and it is up and on the wall where you’d no look. No mention of it being cash only by the bartender. She made my drink and then I go to pay and she then mentions it. Got all snotty after I said I dont have cash. She directed me to their ATM and I said this is a credit card. She then said she just ate 8 bucks. I only had 4-6 sips. I told her I wasnt going to drink it and she insisted I drink it… MAKE YOUR CASH ONLY KNOWN!!

This is my home bar!! I love it here! I have some great memories here! #1.#1.#1! A really great place to take someone who like the oldies music, and loves to play the jukebox!! Excellent environment and even better people! I personally call this place “The spot”! Come Play Pool, Pinball, or Pac-Man!! Dim lit, roomy, warm, seasonally decorated, and full of Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Humphrey bogart posters! Kim approved!
