Just wanted to say, we saved up our money for this wonderful meal and chose it for our *one* *fancy* meal while away on a date out of town. It was beyond expectations. The waitress was kind and disarming, the food was comforting and also unexpected in the different flavor/texture combinations. Great portions and we were well cared for, which made it feel like our money really went far. The wine pairings we also well done. We would be blessed to visit again at some point and hope to! Thank you for a great experience. A few other tables were seated while we were there any it was fun to hear everyone’s excitement over their dishes as they tried them.

Brilliant view of the ocean and potentially the sunset, however, since it’s autumn the sun sets early most diners won’t see it as the restaurant is open for dinner at 5pm only.
We arrived a bit before 5 and got to enjoy the view for a bit before it was too dark. Too bad they’re not open earlier in the day.
Our server was kind, and helpful. I also noticed how they helped other tables make their drink and food choices with good sense of humor.
Food was good. I particularly liked the salad, sablefish, and the duck. The bread was polenta cheddar was also delicious. The pork belly was a bit tough, and some duck pieces were tough too. Hmm… There was a matsutake rice with the sablefish which we were excited to try but wasn’t that flavorful.

Award winning food and service did not disappoint. I had the 7 course dinner which featured a variety of flavors and textures all perfectly balanced. The pork belly just melted in my mouth, the muscles were such a delight in the Bouillabaise, and the Wagyu Beef was perfect medium rare with an excellent sear. Did I mention the service? They were attentive, knowledgeable, and facilitated appropriate wonderful evening that included a whale sighting.

The tasting menu was phenomenal. We opted for the 5 course. BY FAR the standout was the pork belly, it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had and paired shockingly well with the anise ice cream. The mussels in chanterelle cream and the salmon were also highlights for us. The wagyu was delicious as well and we enjoyed the chocolate dessert with the tangerines and mousse. The dried flowers and candles were a lovely touch and added a romantic ambiance.

Wow, I wish we would have tried this place sooner! My husband and I got the 5 course meal. So worth the price! The atmosphere and setting is beautiful overlooking the ocean. Great way to celebrate our anniversary. We brought our baby with us and everyone was so kind to her! Our server was amazing. We forgot to get her name but she has a baby due soon and we hope only the best for her future! One of the best servers we’ve had at a restaurant by far.

My husband surprised me with dinner here on our anniversary celebration since we got married in Depoe Bay (we are from Seattle). We got a table with the scenic view of the water, and that was only the start of the great things amongst others! All of the offerings from the tasting menu were terrific but what really stood out was the pork belly served with coffee ice cream – it was so intriguing! I was pleasantly surprised how well this dish was executed. We might just make this our go-to restaurant each year for our anniversary. I look forward to trying other dishes.

Amazing food that pairs nicely with amazing views. Seasonal selections that change weekly. Always a pleasure to eat here. Consistently excellent.
The Wagyu Beef was tender and delicious. Medium rare was done perfectly. Service was friendly, efficient and professional.
March 30: Returned for Wagyu beef entre and Bone Marrow for dessert. Another excellent evening.

Returned tonight for a holiday dinner. The Bavette had been replaced by a Wagyu Flatiron. I ordered medium rare and my friend ordered medium. Tjis came with butternut squasj risotto and an onion ring. Personally I prefer the Bavette and found the Flatiron a bit less flavorful and a little tougher to cut.
We were not as happy with this evening’s dishes as in the past, but it is still an amazing restaurant.

Restaurant Beck is an exceptional dining experience. The menu was small and perfectly elegant. I started with the vegetable tart, had the wagyu beef as my main, and ended with the panna cotta and a cappuccino. Everything was perfection. I have been eating almost exclusively at/out of restaurants for the past 6 months and this is one of the best. So, if you find your way to this magical spot, enjoy a little slice of heaven while you can.

Beck restaurant is very unique experience for the Oregon coast! It’s not often you find a fine dining restaurant in the area so Beck really was a treat. My wife and I got the 7 course tasting menu. Every course we had was great and decently sized. The menu was obviously inspired by the pnw with fresh produce, mushrooms, and hearty proteins. Our favorite dish of the night was the wagyu with the squash puree. Plate licking good! Every dish has subtle flavors that all blend together very well without overwhelming your palate. Definitely worth a try!
