For a small place in a strip mall, this place was BUSY! Rightfully so, food was great and fresh, servers were friendly, prices are right, and quick. Fantastic Roll was in fact fantastic. Only thing I wish I could have done was sit at the sushi bar, especially dining alone.

I had an amazing dining experience at Tokyo Sushi! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable. My server was exceptionally sweet and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect throughout my meal.
For my appetizer, I ordered spring rolls and soft shell crab, both of which were crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. For my main course, I went with the Black Dragon Roll, which was absolutely delicious. The combination of fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors made every bite a delight. To top it all off, I indulged in strawberry mochi for dessert—light, refreshing, and the perfect sweet ending to an already fantastic meal.

The service was good. The staff was friendly but the sushi is terrible. I had two different rolls, both with tempura shrimp. They were warm, the texture was off. And I could see the quality of the meats weren’t sushi grade. But the worst part was the temperature. That just ruined it.
If you like this place, try Saisakes in Chelsea. You’ll never go back.

I’m in town from out of state on business, and this was better sushi than I was expecting for this area.
I spent a little bit over $30 before tip, but you could easily get a filling meal on $20. I ordered a specialty and regular roll combo with an appetizer and drink and took food home with me.
The service was also great. The green haired server was phenomenal. She was able to answer all of my questions and I watched her handle a difficult table next to me.
The rolls I had were great, the dressing on the house salad was tasty, and they do miso soup right (miso, tofu, wakame and no americanized toppings or add ins. I did add a bit of soy to taste.) Food came out fast as well. Soup, salad, and apps were ready in under 5 minutes.
I will eat here again when I’m in town and would bring guests.

Had the steak salmon hibachi combo, it was delicious. My girlfriend had the chef’s sushi plate with a lobster tail on the side, also excellent. Soups, salad, and sauces were all good. I can easily recommend this restaurant for a good meal.

The snow white roll was unlike anything I’ve ever had at a sushi bar. It was a balance between a savory dish and a dessert. The texture was amazing and unexpected. Would recommend at least once just to see if it meets your desired palette.

UPDATE: I gave in and went back several times since I posted my first review. The food, especially the sushi, and the service and atmosphere remain exceptional. They’ve not been closed at any odd days or times anymore, but I go ahead and call ahead of time if I’m planning to go to make sure that they are in fact open and that they are in fact serving dine-in. (There have been times that they were carried out only.) I definitely recommend this place.
