Milo’s Hamburgers is a Birmingham staple that represents classic Alabama fast food at its best. It’s not flashy or complicated—just consistent, comforting, and unmistakably local. The burgers are thin, juicy, and drenched in Milo’s signature sweet-and-tangy sauce, a flavor that instantly sets it apart from national chains. It’s messy, nostalgic, and exactly what longtime fans expect.
The crinkle-cut fries are crispy and salty, making them the perfect side, and Milo’s sweet tea is almost as famous as the burgers themselves—strong, sweet, and refreshing. The menu stays simple, which keeps service fast and efficient, even during busy lunch hours. The casual, no-frills atmosphere makes it an easy stop whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a relaxed meal.

Literally cannot get an order correct to save their lives. 5 times I have ordered a double cheeseburger plain with only mayo. 5 times I have received a burger covered in so much of their Milo sauce it’s soggy. It’s not difficult. I would not recommend to anyone to ever eat here. I gave them too many chances myself.

Well what can I say, the fries were not good the food has become hit and miss over the years this store used to be good and consistent but no longer the last several times i’ve eaten here it has not really been that good and up to their original Milo‘s standards, and the last time I came I had a discussion with management and they don’t seem to care. They had a roach call across the table while we were eating, and I explained to the manager showed it to him and he says just throw it in the garbage can over there and that was the end of it.

Decent fast food hamburger, a lot of similarities in taste with Wendy’s, just with larger patties. The service was nice but very slow taking orders, seems to bottle neck at the counter. Fries and season salt and OT sauce were very good, and of course, the tea was spot on.

Good food. This was my first time trying Milos. I love their ice and their tea.
Next time I will grab a milkshake too. The bathroom was messy, but not dirty if that makes sense. The lobby was also messy, but the employees were really friendly. A lady that worked there quickly came to clean up.

Once upon a time Milo’s was absolutely the best you could get in fast boy how they’ve fallen off the mark my last several have been consistently bad with food the wasn’t fit for consumption the original double cheese burgers looked as if they had sat upon the meat if you can call it that was was so old that it was literally dried out and like cardboard despite having sauce on it double cheese burgers aren’t double cheese if you don’t even put cheese on them and grilled onions aren’t grilled onions if they are also left off the sandwich, if I could give less than 1star I would especially for the $50+ dollars I spent to feed four people!

Sweet Tea amazing as always, the double cheese burger wasn’t bad. The fries, hmmm I hate I got them in a large on both combos. Prices get higher quality of food gets lower. If your the customer wouldn’t you want your entire meal to be amazing, when your spending your cash. Fries taste old and soggy cooked in oil that needs to be changed.

Lady at front was fine, friendly and professional. But, cheeseburger was the worst I have ever had at Milos and I love Milos. Meat was mealy and not done enough for me, no sauce and bread was wet!!! Could not finish eating it. Very disappointing.

I’ve been coming to this location for years and at times it struggled but the last 6 months or so it has been to notch! Fresh food every time. Order accurate every time and never a long wait. Nice to know I can swing through for a quick bite to eat and trust I’ll have a great experience.
