Good food. I used to live in Peru and LOVE lomo saltado. In the US I’ve rarely found lomo saltado that measures up. We ordered 4 plates today and my wife and daughter treated theirs 8/10, my son 7/10 and I’d rate it 8/10. For the US that’s pretty good. For Peru I’d rate it 5/10. Most all places in Peru grill their steaks and ask how you want your steak cooked. This place doesn’t give you a choice. That being said, the lomo was good. If they grilled the steak and allowed you to choose your “doneness” it would be so much better. For Dallas, it’s good lomo.

ONE WEEK LATER
Yeah we went back & tried new dishes. Amazing flavors and we did dessert this time. Yummy bread pudding. Yes I got more soda again this time and was fortunate enough to meet the owner who remembered us from the prior week. Good food & good vibe.
INITIAL REVIEW
I haven’t been able to find a Peruvian spot in Dallas till now. OMG the food here is amazing and we’ll be going back next week. 30 min drive but worth it. The flavors, the sauces…..all good.

Finding Peruvian food is really hard when you live in Omaha, NE. This is why I was so excited to try Tayta. Like a good Peruvian, I search for my food wherever I go. My husband had a business trip that I was able to joined.
I was really impressed with the variety of food I found in the menu. It’s really hard to find Peruvian Chinese food (comida China) but they had one of my absolute favorites tallarin saltado. The presentation was beautiful, the flavor was just like eating at my favorite chifa in Lima, Peru. I was in heaven. The pollo a la brasa that my husband had was also phenomenal, juicy and the presentation was elevated.
I really enjoyed meeting Diego. He was super friendly and attentive with us. He came out a couple of times to ask how the food was and to be sure everything was great. When we come to visit, we will be sure to come back to Tayta. As a native Peruvian, take my word for it… Tayta’s food is as good as eating in Peru itself.
Fue un gusto conocerte Diego, hasta la próxima.

I’ve tried many Peruvian restaurants in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, and by far this is the best one. Everything was absolutely delicious. I had the Sopa Wantán Especial, and it truly took me back home, hands down the best one I’ve had in the U.S. One of the owners, Diego, was incredibly kind and even came by to say hello, which made the experience even more special. I didn’t take many pictures because we were too busy enjoying every bite of the delicious food. Do yourself a favor and go try Tayta’s, you won’t be disappointed!

Lots of dishes to try. Fairly priced. Friendly service. The Aji Amarillo is spicier than I was expecting. The chicha morada was a little heavy on the clove and could have been slightly sweeter. The lomo was cooked to medium rare. First time here. I didn’t realize it was in the same location as many other restaurants. Neat concept. Plenty of parking behind the restaurant.

I was very excited to see Peruvian food at Revolving Kitchen. The Lomo Saltado was exceptional. The steak was cooked to perfection. Even my kid started eating off my plate. I highly recommend it!

Great food and flavor, came in from Irving. Couldn’t ask for better Peruvian food in the Allen area. I ordered the Tacu Tacu de Seco de Res (entree), Chicha Morada (drink), and Combinado (rice pudding with plum pudding)
