509 Bake Shop has the best sugar cookies with buttercream frosting I’ve ever tasted! They are my favorite cookie! The attention to detail (even in frosting them), combined with an incredible taste…I ordered 6-9 dozen just so I have them in my freezer to share with others.
It all started when we went into the bakery, were greeted with warm smiles and hospitality, and saw a snowman cookie with buttercream frosting. With the first bite, we were hooked. From there we ordered 250 cookies for a rehearsal dinner / wedding, including buttercream frosting (my favorite) and some with their royal icing (my daughter-in-law’s favorite).
We now order when we go to Suncadia, or order and drive over for the day just for a pick-up of the cookies. 509 also has delicious cakes, cupcakes, pizza rolls. It’s our “go to” bakery, and it’s 1-1/2 hours away, and worth every mile to get there.

Our wedding cake came out beautifully! They did forget the flowers that was on the order and quote, had someone else pick it up that didn’t know what it was supposed to look like. Everyone said it tasted really good! Our cake was vanilla with salted caramel filling.

We wanted a simple, classic wedding cake and 509 bakehouse delivered! The cake was vanilla-almond buttercream, and was as delicious as it was beautiful. We also did 6 dozen cupcakes, each in a different flavor. I ordered a cake for my son’s birthday for us to celebrate while on vacation in Cle Elum! I reached out to the bakery through Instagram (where I found them initially) & they helped steer me in the right direction towards ordering! I ended up with a perfectly iced, plain white round cake, which was exactly what I wanted & then dressed it up with his favorite characters! The cake I chose was Snickerdoodle flavored with cream cheese icing & the whole family agreed that it was delicious!! I am grateful for the simple experience ordering from out of state & for the delicious cake!!

Found 509 Bake House online looking for a bakery to order a custom cake. They were very responsive and eager to make my vision come to life. The cake was adorable and the frosting was some of the best we’ve ever had. Lemon and raspberry cake was delicious. We also tried the cherry almond bar, cheese twist and strawberry cheesecake cinnamon roll. All was so good. Will be dreaming of it all from Denver hoping to visit again.

Best cakes & pies I’ve ever had. I used them for my wedding to make a pie/cake (layers of pie mixed in with cake & pie crust on the outside) & it was hands down the best cake I’ve ever had in my life. Not only was it beautiful but everyone ranted & raved about it. The frosting is to die for. Most recently my husband had them make a snickerdoodle cake for my birthday & it was amazing. I will never buy another cake from anywhere else for an event. We live in gig harbor & make a point to stop every time we go to the east side. I can’t say enough good things about this place between the cakes, pies, & customer service you can’t go wrong!

We ordered a cutting cake for a small wedding ceremony through 509 bake house. The team there was easy to work with and very professional. We picked the cake up the day of the ceremony and everyone raved it was the best cake ever after eating it. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone needing bakery services in Upper Kittitas County.

509 bakehouse was a great choice for both our dessert bar and wedding cake. I gave them a few parameters and the cake turned out amazing. I was also able to order plenty of gluten free options.
