Our friends in Richmond took us to Navarasa, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. We started with the tandoori chicken sizzler, which was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. We then tried the mutton biryani, mutton ghee roast pulav, and dynamite chicken vepudu—all of them were well-cooked, flavorful, and truly enjoyable. The jalapeño gobi was surprisingly amazing and definitely stood out as a must-try dish.

Ending the meal with Irani chai was a delightful experience and the perfect way to wrap things up. The wait time was minimal, the staff were very friendly, and they even recommended their signature dishes, which made the experience even better.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food and warm hospitality.

We tried jalapeno gobi as appetizer, goat curry with rice and while wheat roti as main course, and double ka meetha as dessert. We loved everything. The goat curry was just wow. We appreciated how good the quality of goat was, cooked so well and the curry so tasty. They also have pop and Gulp soda (it’s called Goti soda in india and is very popular).

The atmosphere was peaceful and not much crowded. The service was good, it’s self service. The people at the restaurants were very friendly.

We will revisit this place when we are in Richmond again. Definitely 5 star deserving

Great variety of Indian food and drinks with authentic flavors. The ambiance is warm and vibrant, especially with the beautiful South Indian wall paintings. Loved the experience overall, though I found the prices a bit on the higher side for the portion sizes.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this Indian restaurant. The Kofta Angara with garlic naan was outstanding—rich, smoky, and perfectly spiced, with the naan soft, buttery, and full of garlic flavor. The mutton biryani was equally impressive, featuring tender pieces of mutton, fragrant basmati rice, and well-balanced spices that made every bite satisfying.

The Jalapeno Gobi was a pleasant surprise—crispy, flavorful, and a great fusion twist with just the right amount of heat. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

On another visit, we tried their Irani chai with punugulu and onion samosa, and it was absolutely awesome. The chai was a delightful surprise, tasting just like the classic Hyderabadi Irani chai from back in the day, bringing back wonderful memories. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian flavors with a modern touch.

Absolutely loved the food here! Authentic ingredients really shine through. The garlic chili naan was amazing, the butter chicken (no added color!) was the highlight, and the Navarasa special biryani was delicious. Big appreciation for serving food that’s both healthy and full of flavor.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hidden Gem with Incredible Flavor
Tucked behind Value City Furniture, this place is easy to miss—we almost drove right past it because the GPS wasn’t very clear. Don’t make that mistake. It’s absolutely worth finding.
The food is fantastic, bursting with deep, authentic flavor, and everything is made fresh to order. The spice level was perfectly balanced—bold and satisfying without overpowering the dish. You can tell immediately that this is the real deal: when everyone in the restaurant is Indian except you, you know you’re in the right place.
I’ve eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants, and this has instantly become a new favorite. Every bite tasted high quality, thoughtful, and expertly prepared.
The only suggestion I’d offer is adding brief descriptions of the dishes on the menu, which would make it easier for newcomers to explore new flavors alongside their longtime favorites.
All in all, an outstanding meal and a true hidden gem. I’ll absolutely be back.

I ordered the chicken biryani for takeout, and the rice itself was excellent, flavorful, aromatic, and very close to an authentic Hyderabadi taste. However, the portion of chicken was surprisingly small for the price. For $16.99 + tax, I expected a more balanced serving, but the box only had two small drumsticks. I enjoyed the rice, but the lack of sufficient meat made the overall experience less satisfying. A bit more protein would make this dish feel worth the price.

Absolutely loved the experience at this Hyderabadi restaurant. The biryani was outstanding—long-grain rice, rich dum aroma, and perfectly balanced spices with tender, flavorful meat in every bite. It truly tastes authentic and not overly oily or spicy. The salan and raita complemented the biryani really well and felt freshly prepared.

We also tried other dishes, and everything had that traditional Hyderabadi touch, clearly made with quality ingredients. Portions were generous and worth the price. The restaurant was clean and service was prompt and courteous. Overall, a great place for anyone craving genuine Hyderabadi cuisine. Will definitely visit again and recommend it to friends and family
