Valley House is the best pub in the area. It is my family’s go-to place after any sporting event, date night, family spot for a delicious meal, a quick drink, lunch, or truly for any occasion. Not only is the kitchen phenomenal and super creative with weekly specials that change out every Thursday, the entire staff makes you feel like family. Their menu is fairly customizable with options like turning any sandwich into a wrap, great side substitutions, and if you need any food accommodations, they are flexible. Their French Onion Soup is the best I have ever had, all their appetizers are all top notch, and while all entrees are insanely good, their pork chop hits every crave-able flavor profile – sweet, savory, creamy, and hands down delicious. Don’t sleep on their bang bang shrimp, any cutlet, or their cheesesteaks. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Our meals were excellent. My partner had the crispy chicken wrap, which he raved about. I had the Burrata della Casa, which was delicious. The service was excellent. The booth seats were a bit worn, but that did not affect our night out. The craft beer selection was excellent
Definitely going back

This past Saturday Super Saturday, December 20th my best friend and I found ourselves in the King of Prussia area after an extensive Christmas shopping marathon at the King of Prussia Mall. We unfortunately missed our reservation at Eddie V’s, but what felt like a setback quickly turned into a pleasant surprise.

Instead of calling it a night, we decided to venture out and try something new something we’d never done before and that’s how we stumbled upon Valley House in Malvern, PA. And let me tell you… what a find.

Despite the place being very busy (the Eagles vs. Commanders game had just kicked off in the first quarter), we were immediately welcomed by an energetic, friendly staff. The atmosphere was lively, the crowd was great, and the vibe felt just right especially with an important Eagles game on the screen.

Our waitress, Traci, was absolutely phenomenal. She was attentive, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. When we had questions about the menu, she didn’t hesitate to give her genuine opinions and thanks to her, we didn’t miss a beat when it came to choosing the right dishes.

I’ll admit, I didn’t read my menu selection thoroughly and overlooked that bacon was included (I’m a vegetarian). But without any fuss, Traci immediately had it corrected and the replacement came out impressively fast. That level of service, especially during such a busy time, truly stood out.

Now, let’s talk about the food.

The bread deserves its own moment. My best friend ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and described the bread as “to die for.” I had the shrimp po’ boy, and the hoagie roll was perfection crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. So good that I ate the entire sandwich, which says a lot because I’m usually someone who taps out early, especially when there’s an appetizer involved.

Speaking of appetizers, we shared the eggplant, mozzarella, and tomato, and it was absolutely delicious. The French fries were solid, the sweet potato fries were excellent, and honestly everything we tried was very, very good.

Between the welcoming atmosphere, standout service, and consistently great food, Valley House made a lasting impression on us. We don’t even live in Pennsylvania, but if we’re ever back in the area, this will absolutely be a return stop.

Thank you, Traci, for being such an awesome waitress. We truly hope you see this review and thank you, Valley House, for turning a missed reservation into a memorable dining experience.

Will stop back when in the area.

Gotta say, im very impressed by this place. I didn’t think much from the exterior and because where it’s located, but they brought the good.

I wish I could’ve gone for dinner because I was in the area around 2:30 pm, but I do not live near there. Here’s the breakdown on way I had:

Food: ordered mushroom soup, buratta Della casa for an appetizer, and split a vodka chicken sandwich between me and my girlfriend. It hit on all the notes. The mushroom soup, was creamy, flavorful, and did taste over buttered or like they used too much flour, like some other places. The Burrata della casa was topped with arugula, had caponata (eggplant, sauce, onions, etc.) on the bottom, and was drizzled and rimmed with a nice balsamic vinegar, and had a nice fat hunk of buratta embedded within it all. This was plated with some delicious bread, that was fantastic. Highly recommend.

The chicken cutlet, was a reminder of something from Brooklyn, NY delis. Flavorful, crispy, thin, and sliced to go perfectly on their bread that they get delivered daily from a deli (I asked because it was so good). The vodka sauce with cheese in combination, needed a little salt, but I won’t complain because the quality of the package was there. I would order this again or maybe the Italian if I was going for lunch just to mix it up. As I mentioned, I really wish I could have tried an entree, but there’s always next time.

Service: Emily was great, very nice, and since it was not time for a certain item, she said she could check with the kitchen to see if they could make it. She checked for two dishes, and they were willing to make both. It was quiet because it was Sunday, but the bar was full. I don’t know if this contributed to our service, but it was quick, polite, and nothing short of fantastic. She acommadated by bringing extra items asked for, and remembered the order without writing it down. Emily was awesome.

Atmosphere: The bar is great if you’re going to watch sports and have beers. Nice U-shaped layout and people seem friendly enough here. The diner is small, more intimate, but nice. I only gave 4 out of 5 stars here because it maybe can use some updating and be reupholstered, but I understand that is not cheap.

Overall, this place deserves your business if you pass by. I would definitely go again as I was happy with it all.

Went yesterday and today, already can’t wait to go back! I’ll start by saying the service was attentive and friendly both at the bar and in the dining area, great first impression.

Sat at the bar for lunch on the first Saturday of March Madness. Wood tones make for a warm bar area, and memorabilia with nods to Philly sports and music legends are a cool touch. Very solid beer selection with a variety of styles both craft and staples, strong bourbon menu and cocktail list. The cheesesteak was excellent – fresh soft seeded roll, cooper sharp and whatever else you like, I did fried onion and hot peppers – it’s awesome. Also had the bee sting wings which I’d get again.

Then brought my family for Sunday lunch and sat in the dining area which is separate from the bar. Big TV so you won’t miss the game, too. Kid’s menu offered plenty of options. Had the Italian cutlet sandwich which was really good. Excited to try one of their smash burgers next time.

This place has a lot to offer. Whether hanging with a few friends for drinks, taking the family for lunch or dinner, or happy hour after work, Valley House can handle it.

Met my cousin and her husband for lunch. Orders were placed for two cheesesteaks and a French dip, all came with fries. Cheesesteaks were made with Cooper sharp cheddar and served on fresh rolls. I also had a beer from Sly Fox brewery. Half of the steak would have been enough, but I decided to finish it all. Clearly this is a good place for pub food and drink.

Stopped by randomly after driving by this place yesterday. Got there for the post-lunch rush. Sarah was bartender and was awesome. You could tell she blabs great rapport with regular customers and was extremely friendly and attentive. Ordered the wedge salad with steak and it was AMAZING! Steak was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Will definitely add this spot in my rotation of meal stops.

Every single time we go to Valley House, it’s a great meal, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere. We love it. Last night I had the chicken cheesesteak with cooper sharp, and an old fashioned. 10/10 on both. Our server is always genuinely friendly and helpful, and we always look forward to coming back.

Food was average. We had a 7:00 pm reservation. We thought we would have a leisure dinner out after a long work week. Wrong! We told our server that we wanted appetizers first. Weren’t sure what we wanted as an entree. He said take your time, but came back so fast we felt pressured to order our entrees. Our appetizers came out so fast , we took our last bite and here comes our entrees!!!! 7:48 our server dropped our check!!! We weren’t finished with our drinks! Only asked if we wanted dessert, not asked if we wanted another drink??? No relaxation here!!! Just felt sooooo rushed out!!! We decided to go hit another bar. Absolutely will not be back! I don’t even want to talk about my poke bowl!!! And I’ve had them several places! And been eating sushi for years!
