They have recently remodeled and it is nice! Restrooms are big and clean. Dining area is big, clean and air conditioned. The food is what you would expect at a zoo or ball game. A couple stand outs were the fresh fruit cups, and macaroni and cheese were excellent!!! The hotdogs were also good. Prices are comparible with other locations in the zoo. If you are visiting the Omaha Zoo and Aquarium this is an excellent place to relax, rehydrate, eat and watch the monkeys through the windows in the rain forest exhibit.

Im from Milwaukee so used to flavorful food…my burger was so bad i got a refund and skipped lunch! Didnt even taste like real beef…off taste and texture so not good! The smell lures you in but the food is gross! Also very overpriced…over $12 for a plain burger, bag of chips and bottle soda. The burgers are bulk…precooked god knows when…really bad experience!

One of the worst burgers I’ve ever had! We came to the zoo to try Omaha Steaks but the restaurant was closed because of covid. There’s only the outdoor space that sells mostly “Omaha Steak” burgers. The patties tasted like they bought it frozen from 7-Eleven, defrosted and grilled it till it was dried and burnt. And now I’m never going to buy Omaha steaks! Shouldn’t known better than to expect anything good from zoo food.
