What makes them stand out for me, is their Meatball Sliders. A garlic knot with a meatball, red sauce and mozzarella cheese in the middle. The pizza is decent. They are a bit overpriced and while tasty, the food is mediocre overall.

We had a fantastic conversation, laughing and sharing stories, which made the experience feel like visiting a friend’s kitchen rather than just another restaurant. Xavier’s passion for his craft and his customers shines through in every interaction.
The restaurant itself is spotlessly clean, which is something I always notice and appreciate. It’s clear that Xavier takes pride in maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment. The pizza was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and made with care—but it’s the personal touch and cozy atmosphere that make Big Apple Pizza stand out.

We had such a wonderful experience here! The owner, Xavier, was so kind and welcoming—it really made the whole lunch special. The pizza was incredible: we tried both vegetarian and chicken parm, and every bite was packed with flavor. The dough was absolutely perfect—light, airy, and just the right crisp—and the sauce tied everything together beautifully. He mentioned that the sauce was his special recipe. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food.
This is definitely one of those places you want to come back to again and again. We’ll for sure be returning!

First time trying Big Apple Pizza & Pasta because of the $11.99 MW Pizza deal, and I was not impressed. I also ordered the Appetizer Sampler, which came with mozzarella sticks ( cheese uncooked) and wings (over cooked). Overall, Big Apple Pizza & Pasta is marginal at best.

The pizza guy said he changed the recipe and asked for feedback. I’ll say it was excellent. More of a soft texture but i like either way soft vs crunchy. I noticed the cheese wasnt at all chewy like some other pizza places.I guess we have enough good pizza in psl that I wont have to make a journey to Brooklyn.

Not only was the food absolutely amazing, so is the owner. I was having DoorDash problems and decided to drive to the restaurant to pick up my order unexpectedly to them. The order showed up as cancelled on their end but my end said the restaurant was still getting paid. The owner who has no idea who I am just said “no worries, it’s fine” and took my word and gave me my food with no questions asked. What was a frustrating situation to me was easily resolved thanks to the owner who I can tell is so genuine. I am new to the area and this will be my go to pizza spot. Thank you guys so much for the great food.

It had been a long time since I have been to this pizzaria. Today I decided to try it again and it was DELICIOUS!! My son calls me the Pizza snob and we laugh about it, but this is my new pizza place. The service is supurb and Xavier is the best, he is friendly and polite. Good qualitiy food and excellent service.

Extremely satisfied customer here. I placed a delayed order over the phone to pickup at 7:30. They were open even though it was Labor Day, and the employees were very polite. My order was ready exactly on time. I ordered a large pizza and a small stromboli and was very happy with the food. The small stromboli can very easily feed two people and was very full. The pizza was also very generously topped (with fresh mushrooms to my delight) and the crust was perfectly crisp.( Note: All the pizza was there it smelled so good I couldn’t wait I couldn’t wait to take the picture) Great job guys I will definitely be back .
