Have been wanting to try this place for a while, I can say we tried it. Can’t say we will be back. Server was decent, food was not fresh and we ordered our drinks first and had to repeatedly ask for them and still got it last. Apparently had to track down the bartender in a not busy restaurant. Brussel sprouts were good, but not crazy warm or fresh. We both got the breaded tenderloin, neither was fresh out of the fryer, fresh from under the heat lamp at best. The fries were basic, the pickle fries were decent.

Atmosphere is a 10. This restaurant sits on a small lake and they have created a very nice atmosphere to eat in with an entire wall of windows to look out over the water. The classic pork tenderloin was prepared well, not dry. My side was house chips with Verde sauce. A nice change from fries. My wife had the West Coast Tacos which are filled with coconut shrimp. Also very well made. An overall great experience. We were traveling at the time and this place is just a short distance off our path.

Went here for our holiday family meet up today. Very surprised at how good everything was! I got wings and fries, my partner had a simple cheese and pepperoni pizza, my sister and mother had burgers with tots.
Everything was great, the wings weren’t tossed in sauce and didn’t taste smoked like the menu says, but were still really good, and the house made buffalo was solid. Fries were delicious. Both my mom and sister liked their burgers. But the star was the pizza, absolutely great and none of us were expecting it. We will definitely be back, maybe even in the summer when it looks like they have outdoor seating and boats going across the lake.

This place a hidden gem. We went here based on local recommendations. The food was unexpected and demanded that I try something new. Having never seen a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich before, I gave in and was impressed! We ate inside due to the weather, which I rated down for being a little dark and impersonable. Service was great and the kitchen pretty quick for a lunch.

Disappointed!
Searched a lot of reviews to decide where to eat on the way back from a regional ball game. Decided on this due to its rating and menu. So disappointed!
Service: while it was a Sat nite, it wasn’t full. Our waitress never once filled our water or drinks. She didn’t clear any dishes. When she didn’t return with my to go box, I went to get my own. She was sitting down on her phone by the hostess stand! She also didn’t seem to have a grasp of the menu. She was really young so maybe she hasn’t worked there long – or maybe she needed to check her tik tok and didn’t have time for us?
Food: the Brussel sprouts were good and I’d recommend them. Most of the food wasn’t hot. We did send back the ribs but it took a long time to return them and then without any sauce. They only give you a tiny cup of sauce for a large portion of ribs! By then, it was getting late and we needed to be driving, hence the to go box. The burger was average. The tenderloin was hard and difficult to chew. We don’t recommend the fried pickles – greasy with little flavor.
Atmosphere: it did have a cool vibe and I’m sure it’s better in the summer.
Either it was a really bad night or the locals rate it high and it’s skewed their rating?? But, I wouldn’t recommend.

I saw a review on fb on the Indiana Tenderloin group boasting the best Tenderloin in Indiana. I’ve wanted to try it all summer, as I drive 31 quite a bit. Well, I can say I’ve tried it. Size wise, big enough for 2. But it was pretty flavorless and nothing to rush back for. The shredded lettuce, diced onions and diced tomatoes made it akward to eat. The bartender that took my order was very friendly. The 4 star was because her service was good. I saw a Google review from 2 months ago left by Michael T. He was pretty spot on. It also said 11.99 on the menu online. I paid $16. Im not sure if they raised the price, or if we were charged for lettuce, tomatoes etc. Again…..I tried it.

This place really leans into the dive bar atmosphere. Servers attentive and food came out quickly. We got the tachos for appetizer and they are some of my favorite anywhere. The deluxe pizza was fresh and great. Waffle fries were cooked perfectly. Overall a great experience.

This was an impromptu stop on our way to Indy. We were hoping to find a hidden gem to stop and have lunch and boy did The Dam Landing deliver!!! The food was absolutely amazing. Funky with unique twists on crowd favorites. The guacamole was out of this world simply balanced with smooth avaciados and bright lime! Pair that with the phenomenal service and atmosphere, it was a perfect afternoon. Sara was a rockstar, full of personality and recommendations, her presence is an absolute highlight of this place! Can’t wait to return for a round 2!
