Harana is a contemporary Filipino restaurant in the heart of Ashland offering a menu of favorite dishes, desserts and cocktails. At Harana we cook with generational recipes and adapted them into modern times. These dishes are part of our cultural identity and we maintain traditional practices right here in Ashland to showcase the beauty of Filipino cuisine.

Amazing experience all around! Went here for my partners birthday dinner and received quick and kind service, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the food was so flavorful and delicious. We got the “Harana for 2” which includes lumpia, chicken adobo, and jasmine rice and it was the perfect amount of food for two people and a nice way to sample what their menu has to offer. My partner got the milk tea cocktail to drink and was impressed by the flavor and unique presentation. We hope for their continued success!

GOOD VIBES! MUST VISIT! Ordered the Kare Kare, Chicken Adobo and Lumpia. All Yummy.
Tasty, authentic, humble and approachable place to experience. Great ambiance with bold Filipino flavors and friendly service. Excellent execution and representation of Filipino food, refreshing to support and discover Filipino when done right with intention, Ashland is lucky to have Harana.
Overall the restaurant delivers on design, food and service. Bonus shout out to playlist selection; w/ the soulful Filipino melodies and hiphop bringing everything together. Will visit again! Thank you Family!
Fyi, Harana means to serenade in Tagalog. It all makes sense now.

Friendly family owned and run restaurant, with simple elegance, fantastic food, in a great location with an outside patio. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Will plan to come back for sure.

Adorable Filipino cafe with fresh, authentic dishes! Save room for dessert, especially their homemade ice cream. We tried the lumpia (fried rolls with meat and veggies), pancit miki (saucy, thick noodles with shrimp, scallops, celery, snow peas, cabbage, and carrots), a special fried pork belly, jasmine rice on the side, calamansi iced tea, ube ice cream and cheese ice cream. Both ice creams were topped with homemade sweetened corn flakes. All of the food was delicious. We know the location in downtown Ashland is probably super expensive so the dishes are all a bit pricey for what you get – for example, the pancit miki had two small shrimp and four tiny scallops. I wish the ube ice cream didn’t turn my mouth purple The cafe itself is beautiful and the staff are all sweet, friendly and helpful. The owner herself visited all guests as well.

We had an incredible experience at Harana! The meal made me feel like I was sitting in their kitchen enjoying a comfort food meal with my family. Their menu is small making it easy to choose but I’ll tell you this you can’t go wrong with anything.
We tried almost everything on the menu and while we enjoyed every bite my favorite dishes were the Pork Belly and the Beef Mami that was almost like a beef noodle stew. Their Lumpia was exceptional as well. They do serve cocktails which my friends enjoyed but I really enjoyed their non alcohol Calamansi Lemonade.
I can’t wait to take back my family because I know they will be craving it as much as I do.

Jaw-dropping delicious. I was shocked by how good everything was. This is a real gem in Ashland and you owe it to yourself to try it. It was so good I ordered extra takeout to take to my family so they could try it. Don’t skip the BBQ Pork!
This restaurant is phenomenal.

Had a wonderful dinner and dessert here. We got the pork BBQ, chicken adobo, beef mami, and pancit miki. For dessert, we had halo-halo, their island bliss (ube pavlova on a bed of tapioca pudding, with mango ice cream on top), and their dirty ice cream (ube with cornflakes). Every item we had was amazing and left our party astounded by how delicious it was. Standouts were the chicken adobo (as a chicken adobo fan the broth is incredibly good and perhaps my favorite ever), and the island bliss dessert. Get some plates to share. The portions are small to medium but filling. After just one visit, I cannot recommend this place enough – it will be a must-stop for me any time I am in Ashland.

I was so happy that I was able to find a filipino restaurant in Ashland. I ordered their Barbeque and their Sisig sobrang sarap (Super Yummy) It’s like, it’s gonna be my comfort food all the time. I was so glad I found this restaurant. Ms. Teresita which I guess the owner was very nice to me and humble, the place is great and feels like home (Philippines) If you wanna try filipino cuisine, go and check their menus. Will surely go back and let my american husband try it with me. I was not able to take a good picture of their food because I was so excited to dig in! haha

This is the best meal I’ve had this year. Hooooooly moley, Harana Cafe!!
If you go, please do yourself a favor and try the Milk Tea drink (pictured next to my Calamansi Lemonade). The Milk Tea has a flavor that is hard to describe and crazy to experience. It’s whiskey/milk tea/pandan/grapefruit/lemon; and it’s a drink so nice we tried it twice.
We also loved the Beef Mami – chewy noodles, perfectly tender beef, and the hardest part of the meal to share because we both wanted all of it.
Lumpia was fabulous, and we tried the Sisig Pork Belly and Cheese Ice Cream, too.
All delicious, but the Milk Tea and Beef Mami were the shining stars of the show. I can’t wait to go back!!
