Amazing spot to get authentic Chinese food! Friendly staff, lots of inside items! I loved the beef roll and the Biang Biang noodles the most! I highly recommend and would come back!

TLDR:
Very tasty Northwest Chinese food. Good place to eat lamb, cold rice noodle and soup. Better than Taste of Xi’an.
——————
Pro:
1. The lamb soup and all related soup dishes are so good. The baked donut is incredibly well-made. Smells good and tastes good;
2. The price is fair, each main soup dish ranges from $11 to $16, and that’s enough for one adult;
3. Not crowded yet, as not many people found this good place;
4. Service is good. They even offers you really decent recommendations based on true feedback or feelings if you’re open to chat.
5. Parking is really easy.
——————
Con:
1. The name is somehow distracting, making you concerned if it’s a good Chinese restaurant;
2. I wish it can come with more meat, though it’s lovely already; noodles are not that good

Really recommended!

We have been to this place many times over the last few years but this is still my first review for it. They specialize in cuisine from northwestern region of China with lots of flour based dishes so if you are looking for low carb food this isn’t the place for you. Our favorite is the Big Platter Chicken, which is shown below. We’ve always ordered this dish whenever we dine here. The portion is huge so don’t expect that you will be able to finish it. Just enjoy what you can and pack the rest to go.

We sat outside of the restaurant. They are not open for dine-in inside yet. Really fast and good service. The biang biang noodles are excellent, they are the most chewy noodles I’ve had among all the noodle places I’ve been to in Seattle area. 羊肉泡馍 bread soaked in beef/lamb soup is not authentic.

Updated: they open for dine-in now, went here again and couldn’t be more disappointed. None of the dishes we ordered were authentic. I was especially disappointed at the cold noodles and rice noodles. I think Taste of Xi’an is much better on authenticity.

The taste is okay, I used to love the place. but the roasted pork is an absolute scam now, how the hell it can worth 20 bucks with only few meat?

You know it’s authentic Chinese when raw garlic is offered as condiment. Biang biang noodle was quite good. You know the chef is good when the fried peanut is good. Pork bun was good. Candied garlic as side dish was excellent. Mutton soup was good except the bun pieces inside were a bit on the chewy side. Dumpling was rather tasteless and I won’t order again. Service was fast and efficient. Having been to Xi An, not perfect but very good already.

They were very accommodating and served very authentic northern Chinese food. They served a group of 11 graciously even though the chefs needed to be called back in.

This is the best 油条 (youtiao) I’ve had. Great cumin biang biang mian too. I’d take my mom here.

The buns aren’t as good as morning Bites but they don’t specialize in them

Drove by a few times and finally tried it with a friend for quick lunch. Everything tasted good but nothing wow. Pig ears had good flavor and noodles texture was good. Tomato egg tasted homemade 🙂 that noodle was very wide. Chinese doughnut was on the house and was served cold. Next time when I am nearby I will go back and try more dishes.

Nut allergy friendly: There are roasted peanuts straight up on the menu, so I would be cautious. I ordered via Uber Eats due to a running app promotion, and marked my allergy in both English and Chinese, and had my meal with no issues.

Since I ordered via Uber Eats, no comment on the venue itself. I was dying for some Asian food and found this restaurant to be acclaimed for their Biang Biang noodles, so off I went to get two orders (one with cumin lamb, one standard). On the Uber Eats app, I specifically ordered the “Three Items Combo Biang Biang Noodles”, one with +Cumin Lamb.

The cumin lamb was quite spicy!
The dish was more balanced than I expected between the three protein sources and also included carrot, bok choy, and onions. The noodle texture was phenomenal… But, it didn’t travel well. Due to the oil and cooling during travel, the noodles tend to stick together. Unfortunately, this means that it gets clumpy. But, I still thought the noodles had a great chewy texture and the serving size was great for the value. When we microwaved the leftovers, we were able to pull it apart a little bit.

Overall, I’d definitely go try the noodles in person. Huge fan of the cumin beef addition, would order that again.
