Some of the best french fries a fast food establishment has ever handed over. Highly recommend! Their burger was tasty too. Grabbed these on the way back home from visiting Charlottesville. Wish there was a Checkers closer to Goochland, VA!

This is still fast food… but this place is great. We got spicy chicken sandwiches… the seasoned fries are delicious. Mozzarella sticks are perfectly cooked… tender and not filled with the stretchy, chewy cheese most places use. Finally, applepies.. my oh my. 5 stars!

Stopped to feed the kids at 8:45pm, this was our first family experience eating at checkers. It was amazing food and we had our dog so we ate at the tables. It was pretty quiet and pretty out. Loved the fries. Kids meals are $4.99 so it was a great value all the parking by the tables are handicap

We travel from Virginia Beach to Luray about once a month. We always stop for gas and a bite to eat. We stopped here 3 months ago and were so impressed! The service was speedy, the food was hot, and the sandwich looked like the picture (crazy, right?!). We now make a point to always stop there and the food and service has been consistent all 3 times. Highly recommend!!

Compared to other Checkers, this location is not nearly as good. I’ve gotten a cold burger twice here. Like the cheese was not melted at all and the ingredients were all very cold like they can’t from the refrigerator, including the bun. Fries are always good.

Must try you won’t be disappointed. To my knowledge there’s only a few of these in Virginia the three I know of are all 1HR from my house & we look forward to the ride just to get some CHESKERS..
