My daughter and I ate here last week. It was around 5:30 pm and we were using a coupon deal that was $40 for two hibachi dinners. There weren’t a lot of people in the restaurant at the time. Several people were at the bar area and we ended up being the only ones at the hibachi grill. The atmosphere was so nice, clean, and inviting. The staff was great, attentive, and personable. The food was amazing. The amount of food included in the deal was out of this world. The coupon included a combo of chicken, shrimp and steak hibachi with fried rice, noodles, soup, and salad. The portions were huge. I can’t recommend this location enough. The coupon we had was from the coupon mailer…it’s a steal!

Had a business dinner with a few team members
Started with shrimp shumai which was good. The Kani salad was mostly shaved cucumber. A little bland. One of my team members had the pineapple fried rice. it had No flavor. I went with the Sushi it was just ok. I ordered all the spicy dishes. None of them were in the least bit spicy. not much flavor but eatable. Service was slow and very inattentive.

ENNOBLE ENTERTAINMENT
The cook was amazing!!! The staff sucked. He rushed the whole experience. It was my mother in law’s birthday and he made us so uncomfortable. I almost walked out and went to another place. The attitude and demeanor of them rushing was so inappropriate. I wish the staff that takes the orders was the same attitude and jolliness of the cook.

The food was delicious. I placed an order for pick up. We purchased the Rainbow roll, Philadelphia roll and the Yummy roll. Will definitely order from again or rather dine in next time we are in town from NYC.

I had a very disappointing experience at Sake Japanese Steakhouse in Owings Mills and will not be returning.
As soon as we sat down, we were immediately asked to place our drink, appetizer, and full dinner entrée order all at once. There was no time to settle in or review the menu comfortably. The entire experience felt rushed from the start.
When the chef came out, he put everything on the grill at the same time seafood, vegetables, and proteins without asking if anyone had food allergies. That was concerning. The food was cooked in about 15 minutes, and there was zero seasoning used not even basic salt or pepper. For a hibachi restaurant, flavor and presentation are supposed to be part of the experience, but this felt rushed and careless.
There was also very little entertainment. Only one small “trick” was done with a raw piece of zucchini. That was it. No engagement, no energy, no effort to make it fun. Before guests even had a chance to really enjoy their food, staff were already bringing out to-go boxes, which made it feel like they were trying to hurry us out.
I also observed some things around the restaurant that appeared unsanitary, which is especially concerning when dealing with raw seafood and meats.
Yes, they are cheaper than most hibachi restaurants in the DMV area, but I would rather pay more for better quality, proper food safety practices, seasoning, and an overall enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, this visit was bland, rushed, and disappointing from start to finish.

First time I’ve ever been there and it was awesome. I didn’t even know they had a hibachi tables in there. Prices are reasonable, drinks are great, the atmosphere is very nice and clean. You’ll have a great time in there.

We love the sushi, especially their specialty rolls! It is very fresh and prepared beautifully. Great prices on the sushi too. The servers seem stressed/rushed most of the time, but we do get the drinks that we ask for. Long bar to enjoy your sushi or there are tables, too. It is usually extremely noisy in the restaurant. Still, our favorite place for sushi.

I ordered chicken Hibachi. They put shrimp in my food. Shrimp aka water roaches in my food. I’m allergic. This is highly unsanitary and disgusting. Waitress was rude, I overlooked left a tip kept it moving. Food took a little longer than usual i overlooked left a tip remained courteous. Putting water roaches aka shrimp in my food UNACCEPTABLE and it was not crowded or no other apparent reason why this should have happened!

This was my first time visiting Sake. It wasn’t busy when we arrived but picked up by the time we left. My job held its holiday party. The overall service was good. I ordered the hibachi combo with shrimp and salmon. The chef did a phenomenal job. The shrimp and salmon were cooked to perfection as well as the vegetables. The noodles were nice and firm. My meal overall was seasoned perfectly. Our server was very attentive to our needs, and she was pleasant. I will be visiting again real soon. There’s plenty of parking, but it still can be a challenge since there are other businesses nearby. I recommend this place.
