Great French Dining Experience in Ta’ Xbiex
We had a very enjoyable dinner at Boca. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere and focuses on French cuisine.
We ordered the Côte de Porc and a Steak Béarnaise, both perfectly cooked and very tasty. The Pomme purée was an excellent side, and we shared a salted caramel chocolate tart for dessert, which was the perfect finish.
A very nice evening with great value for money. We’ll definitely return.

We had an amazing dinner at Boca! The scallops for starters were amazing as well as the seafood tower (shrimps were unfortunately overcooked), but we added the half lobster that perfectly cooked!
Tarte tatin was delicious and we had a handful of cocktails that were delicious as well! Perfect for dinner with friends or as a couple! Can’t wait for summer to have dinner by the sunset! Service was excellent, everyone was friendly and professional!!

So during 2025 visted boca twice. once for dinner and once for brunch to which both where very impressive. Simply flawless this isn’t the place for price sensitive individuals. However a go to for who values a top notch product. (great value for money nonetheless)

We had dinner at Boca Bistro on Malta’s waterfront yesterday, and it was an unforgettable experience! The location is absolutely stunning, with a direct view of Valletta’s historic skyline across the water, especially at sunset.
The staff were exceptional, warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our evening special.
The Porn de France Cocktail was smooth, perfectly balanced and comes with fresh passion fruit (which I love). Hands down best I’ve ever had. Every dish felt creative and thoughtfully prepared, with fresh, high quality ingredients (photos attached).
The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic dinner or a special night out with friends.
If you’re in Malta and looking for a memorable dining experience with views of Valletta, Boca is a must visit. It’s really hard to find this quality of food for this value.

We had been meaning to visit this restaurant since its opening last year, finally made it this week. It was quiet being midweek, perfect to wind down after a hectic day at work. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, offering advice on menu choices. As starters we had moules frites and the oysters & crémant. As a main we shared the pork tomahawk which was crisp on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside; cooked to perfection. Their salted caramel chocolate tart finished off perfectly our first visit. Their wine list covers the French regions adequately, offering a good variety to choose from. Bistro Boca will definitely be seeing us again soon!

This is relatively new, with the restaurant nicely fitted out. Staff are very nice and service was good. The menu looks impressive but I found the food disappointing. Seafood dish looked fantastic but parts of it, like the tuna tartare, tasted a bit dry as if it had been prepared some time earlier. Malta is surrounded by water but some of this may have been previously frozen or imported. The creme brulee was nice but average. The chocolate tart had a hard base and the chocolate part was kind of rubbery. Perhaps I am disappointed compared to expectation but on reflection, not inclined to visit again.
