Genuinely the best Mexican food I have ever had.
This is my 3rd meal from Happy Taco and their consistency is phenomenal. Today I built my own burrito and it was only $13 and the burrito is bigger than my head, plus chips on top and a delicious salsa bar. In the past I’ve gotten a burrito, Mexican corn the cob, and a coke only for $23. For inflation prices today- only $23 for all of that is the best deal. The environment is super homie and welcoming. The staff and owner are very friendly and kind!!
I won’t be able to express just how immaculate their food is, PLUS how fast the service is because it is beyond words. If you give this place a chance, you will not be disappointed and will never need any other Mexican restaurant again. LOVE love love this restaurant. ❤️

Our experience here was amazing. We ordered tacos de birria with pineapple juice. They gave us chips with salsa while they cooked our food. The food came out quickly; we didn’t even wait 10 minutes for it. They have a mini bar with a variety of salsas. The place is also very colorful inside with beautiful decorations. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone.

We love Happy Taco! The food is excellent and so tasty. Can highly recommend their tacos, birria, plates, and quesadillas so far. The salsa bar is great with a good mix of different salsas to choose from. The service is great, super nice people. It’s small but nice inside for eating in, their takeout is also great.

First time eating here and is was delicious! We got the American tacos and the chicken fajita street tacos. Hands down best tacos we’ve had anywhere. You get chips and they have a salsa bar that was great. Everyone was super friendly. Everything was fresh and tasted great!

We chose to eat at Happy Taco based on the outstanding Google reviews. To be honest, we almost left because it’s a bit unassuming from the outside and we had our two kids in tow but we were so glad we stayed! The interior is very clean and the food was phenomenal. My husband is a big taco/salsa guy and he said these were the best tacos he’s had since moving to NC over 6 years ago.

Glad we decided to sit and eat instead of getting takeout. Staff were incredibly friendly and made a fun time for our kid before the food even came out. And the food was great. Recommend the birria burrito or birria tacos, I believe they use homemade tortillas. Kids burrito/meal was a big hit too

We ordered for pickup and took it to a location called brewery.
We had the street tacos el pastor, chicken and birria. They were all delicious, made with homemade corn tortillas and very flavorful veggies. Staff was very friendly and came out to our car to personally deliver. I would totally recommend and I will be back!
Update: we went in for dinner tonight. Their menu was larger than I originally thought. They have enchiladas, ACP, nachos and all kinds of options. Very good!

Everything made fresh, starting with the tortilla and dip. All levels of spices and flavors! Got the Birria tacos which were so good with the dipping sauce. Service was equally as good. Stop there if in the area

Fresh and tasty! It was a really big portion size for the price. The owner was super nice and even gave me and my friend some chips and salsa for the road. When I come back to town, I’ll def be revisiting! I liked there were several healthy options.
