I arrived during a busy lunch, rush, luckily, I ordered ahead. As soon as I walk through the door, the lady behind the counter as busy as they were looked up and addressed me directly and kindly. I was also greeted with a smile and offered to help from the owner, which immediately put me at ease. Customer service ✅
The owner was so excited that it was my first time there that he threw some additional chicken cutlets my way, which is literally my love language .
When we got home, we eagerly opened everything up and dove right in. The Italian sandwich was probably the most flavorful however I would’ve loved to have some sort of ham or turkey in there. The salad also hit the spot with the crispy chicken cutlet, which is probably one of my favorite meals. The chicken cutlet overall was good but I’ve had better but didn’t land so well was a cheesesteak. It was subpar not hearty, Kind of dry. I also ordered hashbrowns which were overcooked and inedible.
Overall, I would give this place a 3 out of 5. A place to put on our radar, but not one that I would rush back to. The local grinder search continues!
I made a spicy eggplant sauce for the gnocchi… so good!
Here’s an off menu item, chicken cutlet egg and cheese with an added hash brown
