Absolutely delicious Indian meal tonight! The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced — from the fragrant spices to the creamy sauces and fresh naan. Lamb korma (for me) and Rohan Josh (for my husband)felt comforting and full of warmth. A really master piece of the chef. The service was absolutely wonderful, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic North Indian flavourful, satisfying cuisine! I can wait to return here!

The highlight of the meal was the butter chicken poutine. It was amazing. Although we did order our meals at the highest spice level. It was still not sufficiently spicy for my wife. The staff mentioned to us though that you can request even more spice than the highest lvl on the menu. So we will try that next time

BEST INDIAN FOOD EVER. I just went there yesterday and was greeted by the most pleasant aroma upon entering. The food was outstanding and for me to write this is giving very high praise. I frequent many Indian restaurants as this cuisine is my favourite. Bravo to the chefs. Each selection is a WOW with ample servings at a readonable price. Truly one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever dined at. The food was delicious and had so much depth to the flavors. The meat was tender and juicy and the portions were great for the price. The naan bread was melt in your mouth flaky, crispy and soft. Everything we had was done perfectly.

This place always delivers with great flavours and fresh food. Everything I have tried is outstanding. From the palak paneer to the tiki masala, im always sad I’m not hungrier so I can just keep eating. The korma is out of this world! The onion bajis are really nice and the chutney that’s included with them is fresh and nicely spiced. The naan bread is fluffy and tasty. I don’t think you can go wrong ordering from this restaurant. A real gem that I will keep going to over and over. Thanks for another awesome meal.

I have ordered from this place quite a few times via uber eats and all I can say is that food is pretty good. Makhani Paneer gravy was extremely flavourful but on the other hand Kadai Paneer gravy(semi dry) was bland. Malai chaap was excellent. Naan and Kuchas were great too. Kudos to the owner.

This is a hidden gem! I discovered it once by going out for lunch with a colleague. The butter chicken flavours are delicious. You can select exactly the spice level you want. I live in Orleans and always stop here when I’m near Carling. 10/10. Can’t wait to eat here again soon.

Heard nice things so I ordered in when I had my family over a week ago and we all agreed that it was great. Gave it a 2nd shot tonight on my own and it was even better (first time could have used a bit more lamb, more than enough this round)! The flavours are fantastic and the meat is very well cooked, no dry chicken or lamb. Spices are on point and portions are great – takeout containers fully filled which is becoming rare. This may be my new go-to Indian restaurant. I’ve had about 5 curries and I think they’re all nice, but highly recommend the coconut curry. Fantastic!

We rolled the dice on our first experience ordering take-out, and we were so blown away that we keep going back. The food is brilliant so far. My wife and mother-in-law are both excellent cooks, and Sarangi gets their stamp of approval, which happens rarely in their evaluation of restaurant food. Any biryani is good, but my faves are lamb vindaloo and saag. The saag is to die for.
I’m aware that other reviews have noted that beef may replace the lamb (by accident?), but we’ve been lucky so far. Staff are gentle and polite and the restaurant lighting and decor are low-key and kind of romantic.
The only problem is that if you’re driving to the restaurant, you can get there only by starting from the west and travelling east on Carling Avenue. You have to plan your trip and drive around a bit, but it’s worth it.

I recently ordered takeout and was thoroughly impressed! The chicken kadhai and butter chicken were incredibly flavorful and fresh, and the portion sizes were perfect. The naan and basmati rice complemented the dishes wonderfully. I went for a medium spice level, and it was just right—not too intense, but definitely enough to satisfy my taste buds. For those who prefer less heat, I’d recommend going mild. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I’ll definitely order again!
