Felt very welcomed coming in. This place is BYOB. When we sat down and told them we had Sake, they offered to warm it up for us if we would like. There is a big variety on the menu. We came for sushi. We got the tuna roll, tuna & scallion roll, sunshine roll, dragon roll and the pitas roll. My favorite was the sunshine roll, which is just tuna and yellowtail.

Wow i found the best Chinese food in Pittsburgh. The food is absolutely amazing. Not to mention the price is perfect and you get big portions. and it’s a family owned establishment. The family is amazing. Jenny and her staff are always here with a smile to greet you. I found my new family who is here every day when I come in with a smile I’d love their food so much. I absolutely eat it almost every day and that is not a joke. You definitely need to try it. You can’t go wrong. You’ll know what I mean when you come.

I wanted to try a new Chinese restaurant and decided to try Osaka. They have PLENTY of parking which is super nice! My son loves General Tsos Chicken and when we got the food all I could say was wow! It was a great portion size and was really affordable! My boyfriend got the Velvet Chicken and I got the Spicy Tuna Roll. All of the food was delicious and had so much flavor. We also got the Egg Drop Soup and my boyfriend got the Hot and Sour Soup. It was soooo good. The server was super friendly too! They boxed up all our leftovers for us.
The restaurant itself had plenty of seating and was really adorable on the inside. Will definitely be back.

Osaka, a longtime favorite of ours, is under new ownership and dine in is open again. Though I really miss the old owners (you’ll still see some of the original staff), the sushi remains a favorite of ours. There are several new rolls that have been added, and much of the original sushi menu remains as is. We’ve liked all the new rolls we’ve tried, and though the original items may be made slightly differently, they are wonderful none-the-less. The new owners are also very friendly and the service has been great. I do miss the previous owners, but don’t hesitate to come back for dine in and check out the updated menu.

Ms. Jenny (the owner) and the staff are kind and very relational. They clearly take pride in their work. The food is delicious. Just note, if you like really spicy food, everything “spicy” I’ve ordered is still on the mild side… Still, it’s all really good.

My partner and I eat here frequently and it’s always lovely. The food is great and the staff are really nice. I really recommend the family style bean curd which is in the second picture. Highly recommend for a dinner experience with friends or family!

Great place. Was very clean and waiters were nice. Drinks and food came quick. The main problem was our food. My meal was great. My sons had shrimp in it when the menu said nothing about the shrimp. Keep in mind he hates shrimp. He ordered it back with no shrimp and it came back out later. He went throught the food and found a peice of shrimp and he did not eat his meal after that. They also had a fish tank that the fish just stared at you.

Ive been eating at Osaka for atleast two years now and I can say, with confidence, that their sushi is some of the best in the area. Always fresh tasting, with a higher quality feel, and always presented well. It’s one of the few places in this area that I can order Tamago with my sushi.
I’ve tried the General Tsos, Curry Chicken, and Pad Thai which have all been of good quality/taste(although I wish the General Tsos came with Broccoli).
The prices are a tad above average, but the quality you receive in return is comparable.
Would recommend if you’re looking at ordering Sushi or Chinese food and are in the area.

Such an incredible lunch! We had the scallion pancakes, the shrimp shumai and the spicy maki combo (which came with miso soup and salad with a ginger dressing)! Everything was absolutely incredible but we especially loved the Monster Roll. We’ll definitely be back!
