Staff was friendly and seemed genuinely eager to answer questions. The coffee was beyond expectation. A full arsenal of flavors. The sandwich was outstanding. The crust on the bread was crunchy, the bread soft and warm with a delicate toasting to it. The bacon was thick and meaty. The eggs perfectly cooked into a pillow. My only regret was finding this place on my last day in Seattle.

For some reason at 4pm they had no coffee of any kind and a “popup” menu. I ordered a mushroom grilled sandwich and it took about 20 min to arrive. Bread was a little burned and the meal was mediocre. I am not sure if it comes with cheese but I couldn’t detect any.

Still likely a good spot for coffee based on reviews but it seems they don’t serve coffee all day?

The shop has a nice atmosphere and a very clean, modern aesthetic. The americano I had was quite good. I also enjoyed the service from the Brazilian barista. She was quite friendly and easygoing. I thought the bacon on the chicken club was delectable.

I am knocking two stars off due to price and portion. I realize restaurants are struggling due to inflation, but $17 for a small sandwich with a very wimpy slice of tomato and five pieces of lettuce seemed just ridiculous.

Recently conducted a weeklong onsite meeting with several teams and needed to provide breakfast to start the day. I had heard great things about Cafe Hitchcock so picked up a larger order of assorted breakfast sandwiches, along some pastries and everything was absolutely fresh and delicious. Just about everyone present asked if we could source breakfast from there again. At a time where too many cafes and breakfast shops, heat up something prepackaged and bland and sell it as a breakfast, Cafe Hitchcock is something truly exceptional and remarkable. So delicious. Clearly intentionally made with quality ingredients, every bite was/is tasty and worthy of high praise. I can confidently and without any hesitation recommend Cafe Hitchcock to anyone looking for a thoroughly enjoyable morning meal. ☕️

I cannot believe I just paid $26 for a good coffee, great fresh cookie and a dry flavorless chewy tofu (not in a good way) salad. And, as is the trend these days, the system starts at 20% tip for counter service. He literally pointed me at a self serve rack.

Will def return for coffee, as a food venue it’s disappointing at 11am on a Tuesday. Maybe other food is better but the premade weak cabbage salad was super overpriced – was expecting a properly tossed and freshly plated salad at that price point.

Rarely do I feel like a sandwich is something to write a review about, but this place deserves it. Both the egg/red pepper/arugula and the egg/ham/brie/arugula are phenomenal. Coffee is fantastic too.

Smell is amazing, great options, food tastes amazing.. Because everything is cooked to order it took over 15 minutes for a breakfast sandwich.. well worth the wait, but make sure you are not in a rush.. one star deducted for the wait. also good selection of coffee and adult beverages.. sign up for their frequent customer program and save some $../

Cold, pre-made sandwich for $18 + tip which was pre-selected at 22% for counter service. The sandwich was decent, but when considering the price was not worth it for grab n go. Their bar next door, which we were told we could take oir food into to enjoy it with a drink was a confusing set-up, minimal service, no music playing and an automatic 5% tip- just enough so you don’t really notice.

Came here twice during a visit to Seattle. Great coffee, friendly barista, and a wonderful sourdough breakfast sandwich. Will definitely stop here again.
