We finally found our new favorite local Mexican restaurant!!!
We live nearby and don’t know how we’ve missed this place throughout the years. As soon as you walk in you’re instantly greeted by the lovely Servers, “Buenos días” welcoming you with their beautiful Colgate smiles. The ambiance is very relaxed. It feels like you’re walking into your mom’s or tias kitchen with the yummy aroma of all your favorite Mexican dishes.
I had the pozole and my partner had the mole. Both were as delicious as our own moms/aunties recipes. Owner Josefina goes table to table greeting her guests and genuinely asks for your feedback. She explained about the tedious work in making all their dishes 100% from scratch including their aguas frescas. ¡Gracias por su amabilidad Josefina! Our Server Alejandra was really nice. She let us pick her brain with all her favorite dishes.
Authentic and recommend this restaurant.
Can’t wait to go back and try me favorite chiles rellenos dish.

We were looking to find a new place for margaritas and good food in our new neighborhood because I’ve recently moved. This place was the perfect answer to our prayers.
Delicious food, excellent drinks. When I was not happy with the appetizer I ordered they graciously took it off of my bill and the rest of our meal was perfect. We’ll definitely be back soon!

The space is very small, but vibrant. The time we went, it was somewhat busy and so the service was well considering that. I had the fish tacos with the side of rice and beans and it was a good plate. The tacos met a craving I’ve had in a long time so they were wonderful. As a Mexican, I already am picky with the rice and beans of places I go to but the rice and beans here were well done, I did enjoy those sides as well because the flavor was sufficient to me (most restaurants I go to have bland tasting rice or beans). My 5yr old son had a plate of fries and chicken nuggets and he ate his plate well through how he was served it. I had a taste of them and personally I didn’t think they were good but the child ate them so that must be a good sign. Their jamaica drink was very sweet, it had a very thick taste to it. It is good overall, I just didn’t find the jamaica drink to feel as refreshing with how thick the sweet taste was, I would have thought a little watered down by the ice made it better. Their platanos fritos were great though I did not really feel for the lechera dipping sauce for it, I think it would have been better with the crema y frijoles combination I typically have at other restaurants. Overall, it’s a good spot and it has decent prices for the food you are served. It might be a tight space for a large party to move around (even the restrooms were a very small tight space to be in) but it feels kinda homely to be in the space if you’re eating with a few friends or by yourself.

If youre a real fan of seafood ,THIS IS NOT the place for you. Campechana its more like a tomatoe soup with shrimps and octopus, the tomatoe flavor was so strong that not even lemons could reduce that strong taste. Also their menu should describe exactly whats in their dishes, not just like : campechana = shrimp and octopus. It should be more specific on the condiments so people are aware or expect from each dish. I would definally not going back.

Rude waitress, pressured us to leave. She was very talkative with others but as soon as we get seated we are pressured to order fast and closed out tab halfway through our food no questions asked. Started talking spanish but then switched to English and making smart remarks which then I translated to a family member and then she switched back to spanish.
Food was worth the price would eat the food again but to go
The place smelled musty, dirty, and sticky

Came here on Sunday around 3:30pm with my parents and it was great! The staff is super friendly, very attentive, efficient and the food is delicious! The restaurant itself is a little smaller and can get a bit hot, but I think that’s what I liked about (weird as it sounds), I felt like I was enjoying delicious food in a town in Mexico. Definitely would recommend anyone to come try some authentic Mexican food.

Great food love the super fries and burritos. Always super friendly and fast. Will say it has gotten a little more pricey but I say it’s worth it for the food

I always get Jarra Frita !! Never disappointed and always satisfied. Great for groups of up to 5 but no more than that because it gets a little stuffy. Not that it’s a bad thing, it is a small business! My family comes here often
