Our first time dining here on a rainy night. This restaurant is always crowded because of its amazing food, but today it wasn’t because of the weather, which we liked since we got seated quickly. The food tasted fresh, flavourful, and overall delicious!! Our drinks from the bar were phenomenal, and the dessert made our entire dining experience a wonderful event.
We look forward to returning in the near future since we live in Sykesville and this restaurant is 45 minutes away, but it’s worth the drive.

We were down visiting the Carroll Creek Park area and decided to give this spot a try and we were blown away! Absolutely delicious food and great service as well! They have a large outdoor seating area right on the creek and fast service. We got our food super fast and were on our way. Definitely recommend giving this spot a shot next time you visit downtown Frederick

It was our first visit here, and the location is right on Carroll Creek next to the winter boats. For a Saturday night, it wasn’t crowded at all! I got the spiced potato and cheese enchiladas and they were really good. The enchilada sauce was also delicious and had a unique, kind of sweet flavor. They also have spiced potatoes as a filling option in taquitos, which I will try next time! Their margaritas are also quite good and they have a nice variety of options. I really liked the prickly pear margarita.

Tried this place on a whim (truth and beauty was closed, without giving any notice on website!) and glad we did. The inside is a little dark, but lots of windows looking out to the creek. A nice spot. Music was playing, but different music coming from the kitchen too and it was really loud. A little awkward. Server was quiet but nice.
Start you off with salsa and chips – really good and if you want more they’ll give it free. We ended up with so much chips to take home. Salsa was nice, mild, lots of tomatoes juice but it still stuck on the chip. Some heat to it after you have a few. Our table got one chicken fajita and one steak fajita. Both come with tortillas, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, tomatoes, beans and rice. Guacamole was especially good. Both fajitas came with plenty of vegetables which were cooked nicely. Everything had proper marks, and came out super hot and sizzling. It has mild, fresh taste without too many spices. It was really easy to eat as there were a million different harsh flavors. Delish!

Finally, I found the best sit-down Mexican restaurant in the Frederick area!
The drinks: All of the margaritas we ordered were great, and none of them tasted like they had that syrupy consistency that other places have. The pomegranate margarita was on the sweeter side but excellent for those who like that. The jumbo blue margarita is also a good choice, not bad. The standout for me was the Mezcal margarita. It had the right amount of smokiness to it and tasted great.
The food: My favorite was the Burrito California, which was very delicious. The steak on the inside of it was flavorful, and the cheese that covered it was good, too. I tried a bit of the food from the people in my group and liked it, too, but my dish was still my favorite.
The service: Our waitress was phenomenal. We were in there with a group of six, and she was able to answer any questions we had and didn’t make any mistakes.
My recommendation: You need to try this place out. It deserves a much higher rating than what it is at now.

All the dishes were very delicious except chicken tacos. In Chicken tacos chicken was very dry.

Great food and service! The food was absolutely amazing. I have walked past so many times over the years and it always smells so good but busy. Finally stopped in and I will definitely be back again. Despite it being very busy we were seated immediately and served our food in a reasonable time. All of the staff were friendly and we had a great experience!
