Food great. Service? Dear God. I don’t even wanna talk about it. I could’ve completed a damn puzzle in the drive thru, we were there almost an hour. We receive our food and all the sauce is missing. We politely ask for it, we receive an eye roll and attitude instead. From the big one. Won’t be back.

If you want to wait 15 minutes before anyone acknowledges you this is the place to go. Almost 20 minutes to pick up a large blizzard ordered through the app AND the employee didn’t wash their hands before coming back from their break in the lobby. YUCK. Hopefully the health department does something about this because that is highly unsanitary. Go to Cheboygan Dairy Queen when it’s spring if you want good service and staff that actually care about personal hygiene.

If I could rate less, I would. This rating is for the customer service. We ordered a meal with a slushy. After getting our food, we had to remind them we were waiting on a slushy. Eventually they came back and said the machine was broke. We said it was ok and then they just stared at us blankly expecting us to pull away. We then told them that we had already paid and requested a refund and that’s why we hadn’t left yet. They seemed offended that we asked for our money back on something we were told we weren’t getting. After a very long wait, they finally came back to the window and gave us the slushy instead of the refund. Was it that hard to just refund? I thought it was broken? The slushy itself is not drinkable. There is tons of gunk in it that does not belong. I’m really disappointed in the service we received and we likely will not return there after this. Do better DQ. Do…better.

Drove 45 miles for a pumpkin pie blizzard and they sent all the pumpkin back cause the manager said it wasn’t needed this time of year which btw is October 22. Their manager is a fun kin idi it. Also they were selling them a week ago. What time of year is supposed to be for pumpkin pie blizzards?

I have visited here 4 times over the past 2 years. Each time hoping for improvement.
Ice cream was too runny each time. The last visit it fell off the cone when it was handed to me. Service was lack luster.
Won’t be going back.

We stopped and got 2 adult combos and a kids meal. All three burgers were COLD, not just cooled off, the cheese wasn’t melted and the buns were extra firm. We had already gotten back on the expressway before we discovered this and ended up having to stop somewhere else for food. My blizzard was ok but my wife’s chocolate strawberry stared off great, but after the first couple bites is was chunks of chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Normally I really like DQ food, but I would, and will avoid this location.

Did a mobile order, got confirmation and drove all the way to the store only for them to tell me they are closing early bc they are short staffed. They will not be making my food and they don’t know how to refund my money. I am unsure why the 2 to 3 people that were still there couldn’t just make our food since I already ordered and paid and drove here -but she told me just to call tomorrow to speak to the manager to try and get a refund.
