The food was good. I got fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. The tails were left on the shrimp (up to you if you like that or not) and the Alfredo was really, really cheesy. I can’t say it was bad, but it’s hard to give it 5 stars with a price of $30 a plate. Value-wise, I feel like there has to be somewhere else around that would serve good Italian food for a reasonable price. I won’t be going back, but once again, the food wasn’t bad – just not $30 a plate good.

So often with Italian food the potential is there but the delivery falls short.

Really good food. Nice place to eat. I enjoyed the Shrimp and Scallops. Wife had baked Ziti. The bread they bring out is awesome.

Food was very bland. This is the type of place people eat at and pretend they like it to fit in because it’s “fancy” and highly rated. (But no one truly enjoys the food). No spices or unique flavors. Every dish I’ve had here blends together in one big bland mush, nothing sticks out. My carbonara also smelled like wet dog. I’d much rather go 10 minutes up the road to the Olive Garden… Two stars only because staff are nice people.

We ate here on vacation and it was the best meal we had out! We had a blast joking with our server Jimmy, and Chef Carlo joked with us too. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed and authentic Italian. I had the baked ziti and there was enough for two meals. Very generous portions. Everyone in our party talked about the meals we had for the rest of the week. Oh and the tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had. So light and delicious! Definitely hope to visit again.

This restaurant is wonderful. We went on Mother’s Day, and the food was fantastic. Flavorful and beautifully plated, cooked by the chef/owner himself. It was so fun seeing him back in the kitchen and knowing he takes such pride in his quality as to oversee it himself. Carlos also walks around and greets his guests, and I just love the attitude and heart behind that. This restaurant is not the quickest place you’ll go, but that’s not why you go to a nice Italian restaurant. If you want fast, mediocre food, go to a chain. Y’all with bad attitudes about the wait time need to put yourself in the workers’ shoes for a second. I could clearly see everyone working quickly and efficiently, with great attitudes. I’ll take quality food and friendly staff while they make FROM SCRATCH amazing food in just a bit more time any day. 100 stars:)

We had made reservations a week ahead for Father’s Day. Upon our arrival (from an hour away), they had no record of our reservation. We were a table near the kitchen, in spite of that. Service was spotty. Salad had some brown-edged pieces . The waitress said she had a chef’s special today for Father’s Day that was gigantic sea scallops and shrimp in an sherry cream sauce over fettuccine. I was naive enough to think that “special” meant special price today. Waitress did not volunteer the price. That dish was FABULOUS, but when the bill arrived, we were shocked to find two meals were $114!!!!. Add soft drinks, appetizer and tip for $170 for lunch out. I know this goes against the awards and popularity, but the price was WELL ABOVE the other meals on the menu, which ranged $25-30. I would go again for a more reasonable price point or more forthcoming server.
