Welcome to Aunt C’s! We are Ryan and Courtney Gilker
We have 3 children who you will undoubtedly see
helping us in one way or another. Opening this cafe
was merely a subject we talked about lightly, and
memories shared of what used to be on this Main St o
South West City. Ice cream, coffee, and fries. It was
much more than that, although; to a child those are
some important things. We hope to bring you great
food and service, and a place to make memories with
your family and friends as you share a meal with the
ones you love most. We have grown to know and love
this community, and are excited to serve you.

We visited this adorable malt shop/ diner yesterday. The staff is so kind and accommodating. The owner Ryan is friendly and hospitable. The bonus is that this is a local family owned business.
Everything was made fresh when we ordered. We enjoyed traditional malt shakes, patty melts with hand cut fries, a fried chicken sandwich, and my daughter (who is so picky) ate chicken tenders.
The restaurant is clean and a great stop after a long day on the Elk River. We all know how the water can work up an appetite and if you stop at Aunt C’s Malt shop you’ll be pleasantly surprised because it’s so much more than a malt shop.
They have Friday and Saturday specials. The evening we went was catfish or pulled pork but another night they had steak.
The prices were good, especially for what we got which was care and attention to our meal. I’m not sure where you can find that anymore?
We left full and happy! We look forward to visiting again and if you’re in the area yourself, stop by and say hi to Ryan. Order some hand dipped ice cream or have a butterscotch malt, you won’t be disappointed.

We wanted to see what all the hype was about for this small town Malt Shop. Decided to drive the 40 mins and find out. Sure glad we did! Great old fashioned burger and awesome fries. Ryan the owner spent time with us in the dining room and made us feel welcome and gave us the story behind the restaurant. If you haven’t tried it you sure need to.

Brings back memories of the old malt shop. The food was really good, milkshakes were great, and the staff are all friendly. Definitely be going back.

Old time feeling in a quaint little town. Owner operated family business with locally sourced products. Made to order your way. Service with a smile. Hard to find places that have great service and great food but this has it all!!! Make the drive and get a hickory burger, fries, and a chocolate malt.

The service was the best part. The waitress (which o assume is also the owner) did a great job. The food was average for food. We drove 40 miles because we heard this restaurant was great. The milkshakes weren’t that great. The food is average and overpriced.
