Chill local spot great for a casual dinner. Order at the screens near the counter and then seat yourself, grab dinnerware and miso soup and tea, comforting and warm. Huge portions for the spicy teriyaki chicken – definitely enough for two meals for me, & with the salmon (sake) sashimi. Teriyaki comes with rice and iceberg lettuce salad with a light dressing. I’d probably ask for the teriyaki sauce on the side next time. Sashimi had nice fat slices as pictured. Reasonable prices, averaged at $20 a meal for two meals. Overall, I enjoyed this meal after work and would go again.

Went here with my sister and got two sushi rolls which were incredible. We also got fried rice and chicken yakisoba, both were also amazing. The staff were super friendly and outgoing! I would highly recommend.

I am a Chef and travel all over the country. Ignore then outside. The inside is the real deal where the food is. This has been one of the best chicken teriyaki I’ve had. Very kind welcome and helped myself to a free miso soup and hot tea. You will not be disappointed.

Little place with great food! Spicy teriyaki is very sweet with the some heat, really good. The gyozas were crispy and tasted amazing. The food was also out really quick. Side parking can be a little rough depending on time of day, but not too bad. Will definitely pass by again.

This has got to be the best small time sushi and teriyaki joint in washington. They are better on the budget and the appetite than anything around. Normally in the city you have to pay an arm and a leg to eat. Not here. You get a huge, well cooked, flavorful meal that doesn’t hurt the wallet. Really hard to beat that. Even tacobell is expensive in Seattle. Not koibito. Its owned by a humble, quiet, and ridiculously kind family. They are like a mom and pop joint that secretly is way better than its humble appearance. I couldn’t recommend koibito more. Anytime im in Seattle I make sure I stop by for food and service. They are wonderful people. And I hope more of you give them a try. You won’t regret it.

Fried rice was 10/10. Teriyaki and yakisoba noodle dishes were fantastic. Fish is fresh enough but the rolls were just OK. Why so much lemon? Still the overall quality was excellent and staff very friendly. Love the self serve (and free) miso and hot tea.

Did a dinner order to go. We had beef fried rice and chicken teriyaki. Both the dishes were pretty good and the portion size was decent. The quantity of protein in the teriyaki was pretty nice and between the two I really liked the beef fried rice more. It was at closing time when we went so the place was empty and they served the food pantry quickly.

Koibito is a fantastic spot for delicious sushi and perfectly cooked teriyaki chicken. They also serve some of the best fried rice I’ve ever had. I just wish they were open on weekends too! Really looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.
