I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chicken Connection and was thoroughly impressed! I ordered the 4-piece dinner.
The broasted chicken was incredible—crispy, flavorful skin and perfectly cooked meat. It’s easily some of the best I’ve had. The coleslaw was so delicious I ended up ordering an extra side, which says a lot because I usually don’t go out of my way for coleslaw. Even the potato wedges, which I don’t typically enjoy, were fantastic—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and paired perfectly with the sour cream dipping sauce.
On top of the amazing food, the staff at Chicken Connection went above and beyond with their friendliness and great service. It’s rare to find such a welcoming atmosphere these days, and it really made the meal even better.
Highly recommend Chicken Connection if you’re looking for excellent food and top-notch service!

Cute little place that packs a big punch! Very well kept! This is a new territory for me, went up with a retired co-worker who’s been going to Marshall for about 40 year, this little gem has been open for 36 of those years and came highly recommended by him.
4 piece chicken meal with broasted potato’s, coleslaw, and a dinner role and sour cream for less than $14? That’s a pretty darn good value!
Chicken was good and the dinner roll had butter spread on it already, noice! The broasted potato’s didn’t have a ton of flavor but then I tried it with the sour cream… wow! That’s no ordinary sour cream! I asked what was in it but it’s a “secret recipe”. If I had to guess, it has garlic and onion but there’s something else that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. Whatever it is, it’s a winner! Everything was super hot and super fresh!
Tiny dining room, only about a half dozen tables in the whole place. It is quite the popular place though! Pickups though their dive though windows were non-stop.
Service was excellent! Only two women working and they were rocking it! I don’t know if they’re owners but they were working hard like they were invested in the place. Every call in order was, “it’ll be ready in 10 minutes”.
Very impressed with this place! I’ll be frequenting Marshall and this will be a regular place for me to catch lunch while working in the area… gotta figure out what that third ingredient in the sour cream is!

Excellent ambiance of a small town and old fashioned cafe. Amazing friend chicken that isn’t too spicy, but extremely juicy. The broasted potatoes were even better, my only regret was not getting a larger sour cream. The staff was super friendly and hard working. The open kitchen could tell everything was homemade. The Chicken Connection is well worth stopping by.

Not sure why I waited so long to give them a well deserved 5 star review! It’s my family’s favorite place to eat. We’ve been coming here for over 20 years. We moved over an hour away years ago and still make numerous trips back every year to say hi to the great staff and eat at our favorite restaurant! They’ve been doing it too long not to be the best! Everything tastes great, the beans, potatoes and chicken are the best I’ve had. I hear their coleslaw is great too – I’m more of a beans and potato guy. Try it – you’ll love it!

It’s OK the chicken was cooked perfectly it was just very plane I wish they had a spicey version. Or one with a bit more flavor. Also I wish they has actaul salad or a green vegetable of some kind. The beans were also very plain, not bad but plain.

We have been coming here for years and have always had 10/10 service and the food quality has never gone down. The best chicken I’ve ever had and nothing will ever change that. Good job, Doug and family!

It’s the little things that make this place so amazing. The potatoes are crispy and the sour cream that you dip them in is absolutely fantastic. The coleslaw is just the right amount of creamy and fits perfectly with the meal. The dinner roll is fresh with a light coating of butter. And the chicken is absolutely delicious. The food is so hot when you get it.
