My fiancé and I have been looking for a place with homemade pierogis and haluski. The atmosphere made me feel at home, the food was delicious, and I was greeted with a lot of kindness. Thank you!

First time visit, I had the chicken salad with avocado and bacon sandwich. Best onion Pierogi with sour cream appetizer. We Ordered carry out of Olive oil herb Herring, Pickle soup, Red Beet and cabbage Borscht and German potato salad. Unfortunately the potatoes in the potatoe salad were not cooked soft the way I like it, Still tasty. Going back for the Pastrami sandwich and blueberry Kiffels.

I don’t eat meat, but their cabbage pierogies are incredible! Freshly made, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right — you can tell they’re made with care. I just popped in for a quick lunch from work, but I’ll definitely be back!

Since I don’t eat meat they had cabbage pierogies that are freshly made and are literally to die for! Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Definitely made with love. Just stopped in to grab a quick bite for lunch from work and I will be coming back !

Pierogies to die for, and that’s coming from my Ukrainian wife! The gentleman behind the counter is from Syria, and when I’ve ordered shwarma it was as good as the ones I’ve had in the Middle East! Only complaint is when 3 parties got there and they started cooking the place got crazy hot

I only got the pastromi sandwich (takeout) , so take this review with a grain of salt. This was the only place in town open during Christmas day, or at least if seemed like it. The pastrami was definitely not worth $12. The owner seemed really kind and welcoming. The place feels cozy, but. A bit outdated. The sandwich was good, but I think the sandwich was sliced after it was wrapped in foil, so a bit of foil got into it. I probably won’t go again, but I hope you give it a chance.

First time here and first time trying Ukrainian food. It was really good. We had Blini, Galuptzi, and Vareniki. It all tasted delicious.

My brother in law spent several months in the Ukraine several years ago and he said this was authentic and brought back good memories.

The pierogis were really good. We liked the farmers cheese and potato ones best. First experience with borscht was good! The blinis were not what i had hoped so i will stick to pierogis next time.

Negative is that the potato pancakes in the order were missed and the beat salad is just okay.

The hours are a little weird so keep that in mind when heading there.

Black Forest is the cutest little deli in West Bethlehem. The food was so good and the owner Natalia is so sweet! The highlights were definitely the halupki, chicken noodle soup, and the borsch. Can’t wait to go back!

Like the old mom & pops stores back in the day. This place is a classic reminder that homemade goods are always good. From their pierogies, sandwiches, potato salad and service. Reasonably priced and always served fresh. This should be a permanent staple in the Lehigh valley. It’s like going to grandma’s house and saying: “grandma you should get paid for doing this” Well these ladies are getting paid for this and deserve every penny.
