I spent $110 here last night , first time ordering here, and I might as well have set fire to my $. The food is horrible. First of all the fried rice sides are NOT fried rice at all but rather white rice colored brown with a mixture of beef broth (?) and soy sauce. That alone was disappointing enough to make me never come back. I also had pad thai that had absolutely zero flavor. A ramen noodle packet would have made a better dinner. My husband had wor sue gui that was acceptable. My friend had kung bao shrimp that was also totally bland. Even the crab rangoon was tasteless and barely filled. Someone needs to donate some seasoning to this restaurant asap.

For the price this place is one of the better secrets in town. Large portions I rarely finish in one seating.

Wor su gai with breaded chicken is very good. The fried rice is above average. The orange chicken broth completes the dish. I will caution you that you really need to ask for hot oil and soy sauce to get the best taste combination.

Wonton soup is average at best, but the taste is enough to satisfy.

$9 or less with can of soda.

I get takeout here with my co worker at least once a month.

Me and my son came in for lunch. They took our order right away and it was done in about 10 minutes. We ordered a sesame chicken combo, sweet and sour chicken combo, a small wonton soup, one egg roll two sodas…the best thing about our meal was our drinks. He likes his wonton soup, and the rice was just ok. But we the last picture below is how much food we threw away. The flavor (when there was any) was weird/off and even my son said he does not want to try this place again.

Food isn’t very good. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and crab ragoon. You get a lot of fried rice, but there were only like ten small shrimp in the entire rice container, the “crab” ragoon was your standard deep fried sour cream, but there was barely any sour cream in the pouches. There are better options for the price.

The most remarkable thing about this restaurant is that they serve huge portions of reasonably good quality food at such a low price. At the time of this review (11/30/23), I paid $6.50 for a huge portion of Mala String Bean Chicken, with a side of Rice, and a Hot & Sour soup…. The only thing missing was any modicum of flavor. In fact, the most flavorful part of this meal was the white rice… and that’s only because I smothered it in Soy Sauce.

I have to say that the Hot & Sour Soup, did have some flavor, but it was mostly just not a good one !!!

On 02/23/2022 was my first time eating at New Chopsticks. I saw this location one day when I was going to Subway which is a couple of doors down. And I said I need to check out this restaurant, so here I am.
I was not sure what I wanted to order, so to play it safe I ordered shrimp fried rice because I saw a picture online of the fried rice and it looked good. But when I ordered the shrimp fried rice it did not taste the way it looked. I’m sorry to say that it did not have any flavor at all other than the soy sauce they cooked it in, but the shrimp were really tender. Wow this location do not have to worry about me coming back sorry! BUT IF YOU WANT GOOD CHINESE FOOD TRAVEL 40 MINUTES AWAY TO A PLACE CALLED CHINA HOUSE IN CANAL WINCHESTER ITS WORTH THE DRIVE BELIEVE ME YOU WANT BE SORRY!!!

Ordered steamed dumplings and War Su Gai, very disapointed. The dumplings had no flavor and the chicken was very bland. I have ordered this dish many times from different resturants, the sauce is always thick the consistancy of a gravy. What we had today was greasy and thin. Poor example of American Asian food.

Have eaten so much Chinese food that I never in a million years could think it could be as bad as ours was. No flavor, tiny sweet and sour sauce, watered down wonton soup and horrible shrimp with lobster sauce. Never ever again!!! Do not eat there.
