We ordered at the drive thru lane. There was a bit of a wait but it was well WORTH IT! I ordered the 3 Finger Combo which included 1 soda, 3 large chicken fingers, a small container of Cane’s Sauce, crinkle fries, coleslaw, and Texas Toast.
Everything was so fresh and flavorful! Cane’s Sauce was amazing and had a buttermilk base to it. Crinkle fries tasted better than Ore-Ida’s crinkle fries, not too salty and not soggy at all! Texas toast was amazing which was toasted with a coating of buttah! Coleslaw balanced out the entire meal.
The only complaint for me was I wished I ordered several extra containers of Cane’s Sauce and extra slices of Texas toast. Nothing can compare to Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers or Cane’s Sauce!
Pork Chop approves with 4 PAWS!
Me, my wife and our baby sat in our car while we ate our food and during the time, 7 cars went into the drive thru the wrong way and had to reverse out. While there are 4 do not enter signs, the forward pointing arrow seems to confuse a lot of the customers and having the lines repainted to direct traffic towards the correct entrance would be helpful to direct traffic flow.
I still have heartburn from how salty the fries are. For how simple canes menu is, I would expect a lot more consistency with the restaurant. But from the several visits I had even with locations in Arizona, some locations definitely run smoother and have better food than others.
I don’t blame the staff as the location is still new and they’re learning, but the district manager should be more present with this location to improve the quality of the food and service. I am glad they switched away from the styrofoam boxes and have plastic packaging with vents, this does provide a better takeout experience with the food as it wasn’t as soggy as it’s previously been.
Dave’s hot chicken down the street has much better food, pricing and customer service. Their crew seems smaller, but the line runs more efficiently. I don’t want to call the 833 number to voice feedback this is the feedback I am providing and I hope to see change.
Drive thru line takes way too long even if you go at 3-4PM it should NOT take 10+ minutes.
Their parking lot is pretty bad. Landscaping is not kept well at all, after opening a few months ago it’s already starting to look trashy and leafs everywhere. There is also trash all over the parking lot. Might even consider submitting a complaint to the board of selectmen of Saugus.
Now, the star of the show is obviously the chicken. The chicken tenders are cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. You can tell they use high-quality chicken and the flavors are spot on. The Cane’s sauce is the perfect complement to the tenders—it’s a tangy, creamy, and slightly spicy dip that elevates the whole meal.
The crinkle-cut fries are perfectly seasoned and always served hot, and I love that they’re not greasy. The Texas toast is another highlight—so buttery and toasted to golden perfection, it’s hard to resist.
Even though the menu is pretty simple, sometimes that’s all you need! The focus is on doing a few things really well, and Raising Cane’s nails it. The service is fast and friendly, and they really make you feel valued as a customer. It’s the kind of place you can always count on for a satisfying meal.
If you’re craving some seriously good chicken, Raising Cane’s in Saugus is the place to be!
Peep the black French fry placed right on top of my meal—hard to miss, yet apparently easy for them to ignore. It stuck out like a sore thumb… or a sore loser. The manager even peeked out from the back, scanning the front counter for the “complaining customer,” instead of just addressing the issue.
I asked an employee tending to the sit-down tables to have the manager come over, and instead she returned saying I’d have to go to the counter myself. That’s not customer service—it’s avoidance.
