Hookah was the best I ever managed to find in South Florida. Staff were very kind and helpful. The coal in hookah was changed in time twice for no additional payment.
Also enjoyed authentic Arabic cuisine.
I ordered food from here and used the website that says it’s preferred by the business online, I paid for my order online as well. Upon arriving to the establishment the staff said they did not have my order and that they only take orders from DoorDash and uber eats. The older guy at the counter seemed nice and wanted to help, but grabbed a younger guy and told younger guy of the situation, the younger guy didn’t really seem to care and brushed me off; he said that they no longer use that site because the person died (then why is it listed on your site as the preferred business to order from???) he told me to dispute it with my bank. This was 1/3/26 it is now 1/5/26 and the website still took my money and essentially the business gave no cares that I spent money with them just to loose my money and get nothing. Forget this place fr somebodies lying because why would the site not work but they have my money. SCAMMMMMM!!!
There were three of us. We ordered a lot of items, food, drinks and hookah, and we paid for everything upfront at the other counter when we arrived, mind you this is not the first time we paid for hookah on this counter. This has never been a problem before.
After we finished the hookah, one of my friends ordered fries separately. He went to the hookah counter to pay only for the fries. Another friend had already walked toward his car and I stayed near the counter.
When my friend explained that he only needed to pay for the fries because everything else was already paid at the other counter, the man at the hookah counter immediately lost his temper. He started acting as if we were trying to leave without paying. He behaved like we were stealing from him without even trying to understand the situation. He got up and reacted aggressively toward my friend, who had already paid for the food upfront, and if we really just wanted to dine n dash, why would we come pay for the fries like fools?
I called my friend back from his car to clear everything. When he came back and calmly said that we had already paid at the other counter, the man at the hookah counter raised his voice repeatedly and said, “If you smoke sheesha here, you pay here. Why did you pay there?” He repeated this several times in a rude and hostile tone instead of listening.
He then miscommunicated with the other staff and made it seem like we were two separate groups trying not to pay, which was completely incorrect. At that moment it felt like we were being treated as if we were doing something wrong, even though we had already paid for everything upfront.
We tried to explain that if both counters are part of the same business, there should not be an issue. And if it does not work that way, why is he accepting the money for fries on the hookah counter? should it not be paid at the food counter?, and why did the person at the food counter not inform us that we need to pay for the hookah at the hookah counter or so?
Instead of using common sense, he continued with the same stubborn and accusatory behavior and acted like we were the problem.
Eventually the man from the other counter, the one we had paid earlier, came over. He immediately understood the situation, confirmed that everything was already paid, and apologized to us. He is always polite, professional and respectful. We have been going to that shop for a long time and we spend a lot of money there. He knows how to treat customers.
The man at the hookah counter who caused all the trouble never apologized. There was no acknowledgment that he was completely wrong. His tone and attitude were extremely disrespectful from beginning to end. We were accused, spoken to like we were doing something dishonest, and made to feel uncomfortable in a place we have supported many times before.
For a business that we have visited more than 15 times, this type of treatment is extremely disappointing. His behavior alone was enough to ruin what should have been a normal, relaxing visit. needs to addressed ,because loyal customers should never be made to feel like criminals when they have already paid for everything upfront.
And fyi even if my friend never informed you ( which he did), its your responsibility to be in communication with the rest half of your shop or develop a solution to YOUR problem instead of lashing out like someone stealing your $20 for a hookah would ruin your life .
