Tucked away in Stuart, the Diamond Tea Room & Bistro is a delightful hidden gem (pun intended!) that feels like stepping into your favorite aunt’s charming dining room. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by an adorable interior adorned with whimsical tea pots and an unexpected abundance of ladybug decorations that instantly bring a smile to your face.
The menu is impressively extensive, offering something for every palate, but their butternut squash soup is truly the star of the show. Creamy, velvety, and perfectly seasoned, it’s the kind of dish that warms you from the inside out – ideal for a cozy lunch or light dinner.
What makes this bistro special is its welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for celebrating life’s milestones. Whether you’re marking a birthday, anniversary, or simply enjoying a leisurely afternoon, the staff ensures you feel right at home.
Price-wise, you’re looking at about $20-$30 per person, which feels reasonable given the quality of food and charming environment. It’s not going to break the bank, but it’s definitely a step above your average cafe.
For anyone seeking a quaint American dining experience with character and delicious food, Diamond Tea Room & Bistro is a must-visit. Just be prepared to fall in love with their adorable ladybug decor and that incredible butternut squash soup!
Call ahead for reservations, especially if you want to order the the High Tea.

Came to the tea room with a friend who knows Terry, the owner. We walked into a cute little jewelry store with handmade jewelry, antique pieces, customs designs, etc. In the back is a tea room that was so cool. Each table had a different setup and very eclectic. When we sat down, Terry came out to visit with us. What a character! Loved her and you can tell she puts everything she has into this place! I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie and my friend got the Tuna sandwich. The cream of broccoli was amazing, very right and creamy. Butternut Squash soup just as good with a nice sweet, savory flavor. The pot pie came out with a side salad (with the best dressing!) And a piece of what tasted like pizza bread. SO! GOOD! The tuna sandwich was amazing as well, my friend let me try a taste and I don’t know what she puts in it, but WOW! We left very full and had a great time. Terry was a great hostess and we enjoy her sitting with us and chatting. Definitely going to return!

Never EVER host a tea party here!
Note *The High Tea is $28 / person.

Our experience today (where do I even start!?)…

FOOD: The salad was lettuce (with virtually no dressing) with 1 carrot and soggy canned green beans ontop

The “meat sandwiches” consisted of a SINGLE SLICE of lunch meat on crustless sandwich bread with a tiny bit of mustard (and looked like my 6-year-old cut off the crust)

The “Cucumber sandwich” was crustless sandwich bread with a single layer of Cucumber and one tiny layer of mayo.

Dessert: WALMART mini cupcakes (the super cheap ones my kids don’t even like) & stale scones

Fruit: Without question it was the frozen fruit meant for smoothies that was defrosted (meaning it was all mushy and soggy)

Tea: They only offered one choice (and the tea wasn’t even hot). They had no option for caffeine free and no flavored teas (and didn’t even offer us water with our meal)

The soup was good (literally the ONLY THING that was good)

Atmosphere: Junk laying around EVERYWHERE! Empty boxes, cords, & clutter covered the floor and walls. It was also super dark. I asked if we could turn on the lamps and was told they didn’t work. I had to request music be turned on.

Service: Poor

Note: I’m usually a very positive person (this is actually the only time I’ve ever left a negative review on Google), but I simply had to share how poor the experience was to prevent others from experiencing the same.

My husband and I did High Tea for Valentine’s Day and it was lovely! The soups (Butternut Squash and Tomato Roasted red pepper soup) were delicious! This was followed by a green salad and then a tiered tray of finger sandwiches and pastries. The cost ($22 a person) was very reasonable and we were both well satisfied with what we ate. The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect, ornate and whimsical. It is located within a jewelry store and the owner and staff is friendly and full of wonderful stories of among other things, High Tea with the Queen. Definitely recommend this quaint tea room and will be back to try some of the a la cart dishes!

So we tried this cute little tea house in Stuart. It is so adorable and delicious! Everything is homemade by the owner Terry.
She’s the lady in the middle.

Sadly we had high tea and was extreemly disappointed. Comparing it to Lady Anne’s which now does not exist and the Flagler museum which are and were magnificent . The food was extreemly mundane over all. The finger sandwiches were nondescript on tasteless bread and no imagination was used creating them. The fruit was canned, the cheese cubes were dried out and the pastries all tasted the same and were not fresh. The scones were hard and dry with little flavor . The tea itself however was delicious and the atmosphere was adorable but the food left much to be desired. Over all is was a very discouraging experience. If they plan on long term business they will have to improve on the food quality . I personally will not go back.

Overview is: comically bad.

Took my 11 year old niece and 5 year old nephew to a ‘fancy’ lunch. Owner seemed surprised and upset that we were there. Sat us and rushed us through ordering. Plates were not clean, and this is petty but every single silverware setting was different (I had 1 tea spoon and 2 forks, nephew had 3 forks and 2 spoons…)

Soup (butternut squash and tomato) was good. Salad was very bad and had what appeared to be canned green beans on top. No choice of tea – what we got appeared to be a weak black tea (which I would not have chosen to share with the kids due to caffeine content.) sandwiches were soggy and sloppily presented. There was some sort of small empanada thing that was okay but clearly fresh out of a bag in a freezer. Desserts looked like they came from Walmart’s bakery section. Owner gave us a ramekin with ‘clotted cream’ that was just whipped cream. There was just a bowl of half frozen, mushy berries.

There was a large party next to us – owner was visibly annoyed they wanted to order drinks before everyone had arrived. She also told them everything was homemade which was absolutely a lie. Told them normally large parties were only supposed to have a choice of 3 entrees, but her employee had forgotten to tell them that so they could order anything but it could take a while. The party said “oh, we can stick to 3 entrees, what would you recommend.” And she said “oh it’s all good, all homemade, you can order anything you just have to be patient.” Like…just give them the 3 options they’re trying to help you.

If you’re looking for a cute teahouse experience, drive the hour to the West Palm Beach or Juno options – they are much better.

I reserved a party for 9 women to celebrate my friend!s birthday and they treated us so well. The soup is done fresh every day.. they allowed us to bring our own cake. The host was so nice; the server brought everything on time. I have nothing bad to say.

This place was very quirky and interesting! The teapots were super cute and the Devonshire cream is advertised as home made. It was definitely one of the best things I liked about the tea combo I chose. I would go back 100% their scones were delicious.

This was not just a Bistro, it was an experience. Terry, the owner, regaled us with tales of local history and history of the shop. Everything is home made. More eclectic than traditional, but each dish was a work of art and each was delicious. Prices were very reasonable – down right inexpensive when you consider the quality and presentation. An absolute must if you’re in the area.
