I’ve dined here three times, most recently in October 2025, and the kitchen consistently delivers! The food is superb; I highly recommend the flavorful curry bratwurst, the rich goulash, and the perfectly cooked schnitzel. We shared the curry chicken schnitzel with fries, and a small bratwurst with potato salad and sauerkraut sides.
The potato salad had a bright, tangy vinegar flavor, the sauerkraut was warm and flavorful, and the schnitzel was fried to crispy perfection.
This meal really hit the spot, and I appreciated that they offered a non-alcoholic beer option (Krombacher) to wash it down.
We’ll definitely be back!

It’s not easy finding German restaurants these days, and the food here is excellent! Great schnitzel and great German potato salad! We definitely will have to sample the Black Forest Sherry Torte next time around!

Delicious, authentic German food. Was great for a quick lunch spot (indoor & outdoor seating), and also for a date night. Lighter options available, but I got the curry schnitzel and dark forest cake—outstanding. Definitely recommend for a quick lunch spot or a date night in downtown St. Pete.

This place is fantastic. It’s cute and quaint. The food is amazing. I had the bratwurst with German potato salad and sauerkraut. The sauerkraut is the best I’ve ever had. The German potato salad had an interesting twist to it and I loved it. Definitely eat here if you have a chance.

We came here because of the good reviews and boy we were disappointed, we ordered the goulash and the curry wurst. It was the tasteless goulash I’ve ever had, not that thick sauce you’d expect, very watery. The curry wurst looked rare.. fries had so much garlic you couldn’t even eat it. service was good but the food is definitely not recommended.
