A big 5 star shout out to The Red Fox Tavern & Kitchen in Lakeville for upping their game with new ownership. We’ve been here several times since they reopened with new ownership and owners & chefs Adam & Owen Schultz and staff (shout out to our server Stephanie) are killing it!
If you’ve been to the origami Red Fox Tavern, prepare yourself for a culinary surprise! Sushi at the Red Fox?? Yes, and it was excellent!! Besides hamburgers & flatbreads, they have some Czech cuisine & other unique dishes. The new owners also run the 1319 Woodfire Tavern in New Prague.
One of owners took time to stop by our table to make sure our experience was good & talked about some their culinary creations they are working hard on in the kitchen
We were also pleased with the variety of the whiskey selection.
A very cozy NEW bar & Interesting menu with good food. Worth the stop!

Visited on 7.2.2025 and got served by April. The menu has a fabulous selection on choices and the drinks options at the Bar are amazing. The Eggplant Parmesan Skillet and the Berry Tart were perfect. Definitely will eat here again. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through Minneapolis.

Fun little place. Just off this road is this nook of a restaurant. Blink as your driving and you’ll miss it. Service and atmosphere was nice. Food… well not great to be honest. Portion to the price didnt meet in my experience. First of all, the menu is all over the place. From sushi, to burgers, to pizza. This place needs to focus on what its making and narrow its offerings.

First time here. It was with a party of 10. They had seating right away on a Saturday night.. First thing I noticed was the setup. It almost seemed split into 2 parts. And the service area and wood oven on the middle. The this made it seem small. They did have outdoor seating in back and some in front. With a few yard games in back. The server was fine. The menu had a lot of items. Seems like they are not sure what they want to be known for. Tacos. Sushi. Fajitas prime rib wood fired pizza. They ran a lot of things through there woodfire oven. I ordered a pizza BBQ chicken . It was fine. Crust and flavor was ok.. Prices seem average at the current market. The service was good. Nothing to complain about. But wasn’t anything to make it standout either.

We absolutely love the Red Fox! The service is great! We usually sit in the bar area. Darian is great! The other gal with the short brown hair is great too! Love the breakfasts! We have have had great dinners as well. Love the smash burgers! Highly recommend!

The New Red Fox Tavern & Kitchen has an amazing menu. The Food is absolutely AMAZING. Great place to watch the game at the Bar to a great place for a date night. Plus the Live music on the weekends are perfect way to end the weekend.

Wow. Just wow!!! I just got the best customer service and I wasnt even in the country. Allow me to explain. My friend had a surprise party at Red Fox and I wasnt able to make it because I am living abroad. I still wanted to surprise her, so I contacted Red Fox on FB and asked them to help. They came through in a HUGE way. Long story short, my friend called me in tears. Special shout out to the FB account manager, manager on duty, and everyone else involved. You sure made my friend’s day extra special.

Big Bang for your buck for several reasons! Food, atmosphere and service are the reason for this review. As a local Lakeville”ite” lots of fun memories have been made over the twenty plus years provided by Red Fox with different owners, staff and menus. Tonight was another experience that will have me coming back and recommending others to head there. As owner and chef, Adam has nailed it. His passion is apparent in the flavors, portions, presentation and service of food and dining experience. Thank you, Adam for taking the time to converse – your culinary passion is well received – AND wow, noticing and fixing our wobbly table right on the spot! Thank you, April for being a familiar and welcoming face to Lakeville – you, my dear are loved and appreciated! Side note, bartender who reminded me of the 1985 Breakfast Club character, John Bender – Thank you for looking like him.

We were on our way out of Minneapolis and were looking for something different to eat that wasn’t too far off the interstate. This restaurant rated well and did not disappoint! We were served by Alexa and she was such an awesome server, super sweet and helpful. (Alexa, if you see this, dont forget to look up Loungefly!). I tired the apple walnut panakeuken, which was hot, delicious, and the perfect portion size. The breakfast pizza was cooked to perfection, and I will have dreams about that wood fired crust. My mom said her oriental salad was quite delicious as well. We also loved our espresso martinis. 10/10 would recommend to anyone traveling through.
