So I went back to the hungry greek , this time sun city location, and let me just tell you….the food was bomb! I got the shrimp and salmon plate, and the way it was seasoned and grilled to perfection was unbelievable! I dont know who they have seasoning and cooking back there, and so y’all know i had to ask. Kevin and Sean yall did yall thing! Everything was chef’s kiss! Im going going back back to Sun city city. Look at my food yall

This is Greek fast-food, all pre-made. Prices are reasonable and portions large. My meal was under $20. Food was fine, nothing exceptional. Healthy option vs. standard burger place.

The food is delicious and the portions were also great! The chicken was so tender and juicy. Beef was undercooked to my liking but still flavorful. Gyro meat was top ter and amazing! I’ll be eating here anytime I pass by! Salad was very fresh and great portion. There was also potatoe salad under the salad itself, which was a nice surprise!

Last winter The Hungry Greek in Sun City, was a new find for us. We discovered this energetic, sleek restaurant when we were out rambling around the Tampa Bay area. Loved the food! Everything was so fresh. Brought friends back with us a month later. They loved it, too. This year, as we drove south on I75 on the last leg of our long trek down from OH, we decided to try them again. Same fast service; DELICIOUS food (the best Tzatziki sauce ever); and friendly staff. Wish we had The Hungry Greek in OH!

Update
It would appear that some type of change has happened in this location with management or something. Even the crew is no longer the same. This isn’t the same anymore since October sadly. At first maybe its a fluke that couple times we got food here that maybe they were just have an off day so I tried again this week. Unfortunately not only they got greedy with tatziki sauce having to give you only 1 with the order but the quality of the gyro & the pita too went down hill. Sadly I will not be making the trip anymore from Parrish. Good luck
Wow where to begin. I’m glad we decided to make a drive to try this place since I’m craving a gyro salad. Beautiful colorful salad presentation matched the authentic taste of the gyro. Portion is appropriate with the price. Service was great. Location easy to find & clean. Thank you so much I will be adding this to my rotation.

We always had to call to ask them for the pita bread to be soft and at first they made sure it was. We were ordering regularly and even downloaded their app BUT clearly they stopped caring. The last few times we ordered the pita bread was hard despite calling to request soft (fresh) bread. Rather drive another 10 minutes to Little Greek were the bread is always fresh and soft AND we don’t have to call them ahead to make the request.

I’ve been here a few times and never disappointed. Today the food was amazing and the pita bread was fresh and warm. I noticed the manager working hard as if she was another employee and that is always a good sign of team work.

I must say coming from up north I would have never imagined getting a gyro better than a Jersey gyro and this place is simply chefs kiss . The owner was so sweet and the ambiance was great!! The homemade tzatziki sauce is TOP TIER!! If you want good homestyle greek food try them out, you won’t be sorry, its definitely good eats!!

First time to visit The Hungry Greek. The customer service was excellent. It was lunch time the place was standing room only. Food came out quickly. During this super busy time, we watched the owner (I think)patiently read and explain the entire menu to a customer who was visually impaired. Thank for showing amazing customer service during what can be a very stressful time for employees. I will visit this place often because the food was very good, the customer service was excellent and the serving size was generous.
