Been here twice; our first visit we were blown away!! All the food is slow cooked over a low flame and finished on various grills as you order. My wife thought the beet salad was one of the best salads she has ever had, the rib-eye wrapped asparagus was sublime, and I had the largest, juiciest and most tender pork chop I’ve ever had. The four stars is because we had a much poorer second visit. We made reservations to share this experience with visiting family, and the restaurant had no pork chops, no beet salad, and no rib-eye; apparently they sold out. It was a major bummer as it was a rare family dinner, and none of what everyone wanted was available. If you catch them when they have food, you won’t be disappointed.

This is one of San Miguel’s must-eateries! Gorgeous open air dining area with truly DELICIOSO food. I HIGHLY recommend the grilled snapper, which was served whole and grilled to perfection. The grilled veggies were also cooked perfectly and I would come back to have the Grilled Veggie plate all by itself. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy dreamy and I could eat a big bowl of those for a meal too. The New York Cheesecake is homemade by the owner with a yum-iliciously auhentic recipe. Fabuloso restaurant choice for a Birthday celetration! The restaurant is a very short drive past Las Ventanas (barely in the “Campo”) and WELL worth the trip!!!
