What started out as a dream years ago, became a reality for Todd Norris in the summer of 2017. With the purchase of his food truck, Todd set out to make Truck Norris a success. It has quickly become a favorite in the Saint Louis area and expanded to a brick & mortar, Truck Norris Twisted Eats in 2025. Unfortunately, the food truck was totalled in an accident in July, and due to a number of factors stemming from the accident, we have had to close the restaurant as of January 24th, 2026.

If you’re anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and GO!
This was our first visit to Truck Norris, and from the moment we walked in, the experience was top tier. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Multiple team members (politely!) offered their personal favorites and pointed out what guests tend to order most. You can tell they truly enjoy the food they serve, and that makes the whole visit even better.
The atmosphere is awesome—cool lighting, a great bar setup, plenty of TVs, and creative décor that fits the vibe perfectly. It’s the kind of place that feels fun the second you sit down.
Now the food… wow.
Yes, the wait was a little on the longer side, but once the plates hit the table, we understood why—everything was unbelievably fresh, perfectly crispy, and loaded with flavor. We ordered the Egg Roll Sampler (so good we could’ve ordered another and been perfectly happy), the Big Panda sandwich, Street Corn Chicken Tacos, and chicken tenders for the kids.
Each dish came with their famous tots, and these alone are worth the visit. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly crispy, and made even better by the chance to sample several of the sauces they use to top them. Every sauce we tried was delicious in its own way.
We seriously give everything we ate a 10/10. They’ve mastered the art of fresh, crispy, flavorful food, and whatever they’re doing back in that kitchen, they need to keep it up!
We’ll absolutely be back soon for more egg rolls, more tots, and to try even more menu items.
Highly recommend — absolutely worth the 30-minute drive.
I don’t usually judge staff behavior, but this time it didn’t feel very welcoming,
Still, the food itself is a must-try
We came on opening day (today 2/4/25) and was one of the first people to order!
They did an amazing job with the reno, which used to be the old Alibi 25, a much darker bar and grill.
There are a few new items on the menu here and a few new ones in the works. Otherwise, same delicious menu from their food truck.
I got the “All Hail Ceaser” chicken sandwich- lemon pepper chicken with a giant parmesan crisp, topped with ceaser lettuce on a croissant bun. We also ordered the “Original Totchos”- crispy tots with white queso, bbq pulled pork, fire roasted corn, lettuce, sour cream, bbq sauce and candied jalapeños (we ordered the single portion) My husband got the “Street Corn Chicken Tacos”- Mexican style grilled chicken, guacamole, fire roasted street corn, Mexican crema sauce, cotija cheese all on corn tortillas.
Everything was fresh and delicious! The lemon pepper chicken really brightened up the ceaser dressing on the sandwich and that bun… next level! The bbq sauce on the totchos was so good, I thought it was a honey sauce, sticky and sweet. The tacos were amazing with plenty of toppings!
This restaurant is a counter service casual dining with a full bar, so win win there! For being the first day open, everything came out timely and we had zero issues! I highly recommend checking this place out!
My brother got the mac and cheese grilled cheese with the pulled pork and it was absolutely fantastic as well.
We will definitely be going back because there’s a lot more on the menu that we want to try.
