The place is falling apart in many ways. They have no liquor license- perhaps they lost it, so there is no wine or beer with dinner. I asked 2 different waitresses for a glass of water 3 times and did not get one after sitting down until 30 minutes later! The bread, which others rave about, was awful. It was very cold on the inside- obviously frozen and very crumbly indicating it is poorly made. The waitress replaced the bread with a new loaf and all 3 times they were cold on the inside. The kitchen is failing at the basics! The chicken Parmesan is a large portion but comes out on pasta without even having sauce on the pasta itself! That was very strange to me, they were a pile of plain noodles under the meat. The sauce on the chicken was bland and lacking flavor. The tiramisu was the oddest rendition I’ve ever seen- a dry layered white cake with a tiny bit of cream and chocolate chips on top. The service and skill of the kitchen is very poor! I waited an hour for my food. I would never come here again!

The food was amazing as well as my waitress. Will definitely head back there before leaving Morgantown. Fresh handmade pasta daily. Was such a treat!❤

This is a unique quiet place with delicious food. Starts off with a loaf of hot baked bread drisslied in garlic butter. Had the Basil pesto with homemade linguine pasta! It was fantastic! Great service too!

I went to this restaurant for dinner and had a pretty nice time. The food was good and the environment was nice. Several of the people I dined with ordered the lasagna and loved it. I ordered the cheese dumplings and chicken parm and while they were good, I wasn’t blown away. The dumplings were much more dough than cheese and the parm was a tad short on sauce (luckily, the lasagnas were swimming in sauce so I just transferred some). None of these things are deal breakers, just areas of improvement.
The one thing that actually bothered me were the fruit flys… those need to go.

If I were you, I would avoid their underbaked doughey calzone. Not worth the $$.
Otherwise good food, great garlic butter bread and good quiet ambience.

Small cozy dining room, but not cramped. Delightful meal. The sauce, meatball & sausage are to die for. Salad was the best I’ve had in a long long time. Portions are more than enough to feed 2 people. Bree our waitress was very pleasant and was on top of everything. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Italian food.

My favorite Italian restaurant in the Morgantown area. Reasonably priced, delicious, and friendly service. Every pasta I’ve had here has been excellent.
The free bread with the garlic butter is insanely good one of the biggest reasons we keep coming back here. Not as fancy of an interior as other places but that’s what draws me to this place. You can feel comfortable here without any of the frills.

Excellent Italian restaurant. Their pasta is handmade and have great texture to it. It is however not very salty, so you’re a person that likes heavy stuff, be prepare to add some salt on top of your pasta. The bread is also delicious and fresh. It is a small place so I would recommend reservation if you’re going there near lunch or dinner time.

We stopped in for a late afternoon lunch for the first time, and wow, this place was great! We had pasta dinners, one with Alfredo, the other with meat sauce. The dinner was served with a much better than average salad, and the bread was unbelievable, like a giant homemade hot roll served in a pool and drizzled with garlic butter. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and the service was timely. I definitely recommend Puglioni’s and will try a sandwich or pizza the next time.
