I had breakfast at Chris & Angie’s over the weekend and it was absolutely amazing! The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Everything came out perfectly and you can really taste the quality. It’s definitely one of the best breakfast spots in town!
What made our visit even better was our waitress, Denise. She was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we sat down. She made sure we had everything we needed and her positive attitude really stood out.
If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast and also with outstanding service, this is the place to go. We will definitely be back! Amazing food

Chris & Angie’s Dinette is a fantastic spot. We stopped in with a party of six and were really impressed by the menu. They strike a great balance between classic diner fare and really strong specials. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits, which was delicious, and the rest of the table got a mix of everything from the Greek breakfast to the French Onion Burger. Every single person said their food was perfectly done. We’ll definitely be back!

The food at Chris and Angie’s is phenomenal. I especially love the eggs and the french fries the coffee is delicious. The specials are great. You cannot go wrong. The only thing I suggest is that you get Denise she is the absolute best server there. We go there every single weekend you also should get there before 10 otherwise there is a wait

Stopped by my hometown of Nutley to try out this comfort dinette Chris & Angie’s which was absolutely delectable . This is my second time coming back here for the breakfast. The service was top rated and the breakfast did not disappoint again. Classic mouth watering taylor ham eggs and cheese sandwiches are exactly what you would expect to get here in north jersey. They also serve up a very healthy portion of buttermilk pancakes and thick sausages with great flavor as well. Great coffee and the atmosphere and look of this place felt vintage Nutley. I want to come back and try the dinner menu next time. From the pictures posted here, the lunch and dinner dishes look amazing. We will be back and look out for my next review of lunch and dinner here.

It was refreshing to experience the culinary delights of Chris and Angie’s, considering that we are inundated by repetitious blandness on a daily basis with many other establishments. Breakfast is simple enough, and I very much enjoy what they have to offer for lunch. But their specials and their dinner selection are truly amazing. Their chicken soup, one of my favorite choices, is thick and hearty. The stuffed peppers, large and packed with meaty tastefulness, remind me of how my little Italian grandmother once prepared our dinners. I have had multiple dishes prepared at Chris and Angie’s, and I have not been disappointed once. But just as important as the food that they offer, is the kindness and friendliness of the staff and the owners. It appears to be an outdated concept, but getting acquainted with your customers, serving them beverages before you even ask, because they already are familiar with your name and ordering habits, is not only impressive, it is fundamentally critical in this day and age, when there are a plethora of establishments that serve food. Separating one’s self from all others performing the same task, is the key to success. That success comes from not only the food choices Chris and Angie’s provide, but the people behind the counter, that make this restaurant feel like sitting down to a family meal.

This place was great and clean. Food was amazing. I had the avocado bacon toast amd was the best. I also had blueberry pancakes and thwy were fluffy and delicious. My server Julio was amazing and was very attentive.. I give him 100 stars. I would definitely come here again and can’t wait to try more items.

A friend of mine brought me here for lunch one day and I have to say it was phenomenal. The food, the service and the atmosphere were 5 star. They have a great selection of different foods that can satisfy any craving. The friendly staff was attentive and courteous. The restaurant itself is very relaxing and extremely clean. I have been back multiple times since and it has yet to dissapoint. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews but this was some of the worst food I’ve had in the area. I got the chicken souvlaki pita and the only thing good about it was the chicken. The sandwich was easy too watery and the tomato was cut really thick. I found a hair in the sandwich so they don’t wear hair nets. The fries were both bland and tasted only like vegetable oil. The rest of the good at the table was equally bad. They messed up the order for my mother’s sandwich but they brought the bacon as a side so they corrected that. Her sandwich was just so bad and flavorless and the vegetables on it were cut too large. I won’t be back and I’m honestly really surprised people give this place 5 stars with such bland food.
