A morning at Pewter Spoon, starting the day with some breakfast sandwiches, treats and coffee and if you’re in the area you might want to start your day, this way, every day. What a cute place, tucked in with some other businesses, but laid out well enough to accommodate a decent morning rush, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It was busy, yet everything was moving efficiently, which I was very impressed by. The sandwiches we got were delightful, not too heavy, but not overly light either. The breakfast treat in the berry bar was the same way, and my wife loved the iced mocha she got. I think this is an obvious choice for a simple and clean breakfast. But don’t go too far away, they do service throughout the day, and after the breakfast we had, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back for lunch and more. Enjoy!

Okay here me out the dining room isn’t big enough. That said this place is majestic. Food-delicious, atmosphere cozy when not over crowded, and just a delightful little restaurant with good eats and delicious drinks! I’ve tried breakfast and lunch here as well as a few beverages and I have not been let down yet!!!

The people behind the counter were not very welcoming or helpful. First time here, didn’t leave a great impression. 30$ for 2 sandwiches and a cup of coffee. Eggs tasted rubbery, like they were microwaved, but it took 25 minutes so who knows.
Here’s the thing that pissed me off. We sat a a small 2 top as to leave bigger tables for others, despite my husband being very tall with long legs. While eating, an employee came over and pushed a 3rd chair between us, hitting our legs!!! That couldn’t have waited until we finished?
Also, that 30$ didn’t include tip. They clearly expected a tip but we regret leaving one. No service at all.

This cafe is a true gem. My husband and I stopped in for lattes and sandwiches following a motorcycle ride. The lattes were excellent and the sandwiches were fresh and delicious. The staff were courteous and friendly.

My partner and I came to this cafe after looking for a quick to-go coffee spot. We did come around 11am on Sunday, so we did end up waiting a bit for our order to be taken. Once we got to the register, staff was welcoming and friendly, appreciating our patience.
They have decent prices, especially for their sandwiches. My only criticism is that the indoor dining area is fairly small, so if you are a person taking your items to go, there isn’t really much space to wait without feeling like you’re on top of the tables/other guests.
But let me tell you, my iced hazelnut latte was EXCELLENT. A fear with lattes is them being too milky and overpowering the coffee flavor, however this latte was the opposite. Excellent quality bean. One of the best coffees I’ve had in a long time. I inhaled it. I will definitely back to try the food, however I will ABSOLUTELY come back for the coffee whenever I visit.

We had a DELICIOUS lunch and grabbed coffee to go. We had Franke’s Egg Sandwich, which was a daily special. It was a fried egg, tomato, cream cheese, dill and Gouda cheese served on a thin and crunchy toasted ciabatta bread. FANTASTIC! We also tried Clyde’s Toast (yum) and an oak milk latte and a cappuccino. This a a great spot for a breakfast or lunch. It’s conveniently located a couple of doors down from the Lincklaen Inn, so it’s perfectly located on the main street through Cazenovia!

It is not an exaggeration when I say that Pewter Spoon is one of the best lunch stops in the state. This is not just because of the food, which is always reliable and comforting, but because of the people who run it and work there. They are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet and have given our family so much. The staff they hire is the best: kind, genuine, caring people who make sure you (and your stomach!) leave the place happy. Now lets get back to the food. They have a variety of paninis and salads, and always have interesting specials if you get there early enough. They also have a few baked goods/cookies (highly recommend the berry jam oat bar!). A couple of outdoor tables to go with eight indoor tables and a counter top make for a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel at home, especially on rainy or snowy days. The drinks are solid too!

Very popular spot – it was packed even on a sleepy winter Sunday! The mushroom panini was delicious, with fresh and wholesome ingredients. Best lunch spot on Cazenovia high street.

I have stopped in here two times as of today, the service was much better today than the last time i came in around May of this year. For cafe food it is reasonably priced (im used to sandwiched being more expensive at coffee shops so that was nice)
Reason things aren’t a 5/5 is the service the first time i went the counter person wasn’t the friendliest person and i felt i was an inconvenience for ordering a lavender latte with oat milk.
Their espresso is bitter compared to most cafe lattes ive had. It tastes like its a darker roast rather than a light/ medium that i look for in a latte. Not bad quality just not my taste not mention, less caffeine. This was the case both times i came here.
