Service is extraordinary even though there was a near full house and not many staff moving about. Always alert and responsive and very sweet.
And the food was divine. We had burata salad and ahi tuna as starters – both were authentic. Tuna came with a bed of seaweed salad that was so fresh. My lamb chops are divine and beautifully presented on a wooden board/tray. The chops were well charred on the outside and favorable and tender within. What a rewarding experience.
A must-visit venue.

I recently celebrated my birthday brunch at Dolce Vita in Nyack, NY, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the owner and staff greeted us with such warmth and hospitality that we instantly felt at home.
The ambiance was charming, creating the perfect setting for a special celebration. My wife, knowing my love for lamb chops, chose this gem of a place, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect choice. The lamb chops were simply spectacular—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
But the culinary magic didn’t stop there. I also indulged in their braised lamb shank, and let me tell you, it was divine. The meat was so tender it fell off the bone effortlessly, bursting with rich, savory flavors that left me craving more.
Every detail of the meal was meticulously crafted, and the service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive. The entire staff had a genuine warmth that made us feel celebrated and valued.
Dolce Vita has mastered the art of combining excellent cuisine with top-notch service in a delightful setting. I highly recommend visiting for any special occasion, or just to treat yourself to a memorable dining experience. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their delicious menu!
I started with a Boulevardier that was outstanding. They brought out a bread basket which was delicious. Oil with herbs for dipping on the side. We knew right away that this was going to be an above average experience.
For an appetizer, we had the clams oreganata, which was fantastic. For mains, my wife got the rigatoni bolognese, and she loved it. It wasn’t just your standard bolognese. It had spicy Italian sausage along with the beef, which gave it extra depth and a little kick. I went with the red wine braised short rib, served with mashed potatoes, and it was outstanding.
We finished with tartufo for dessert, which tasted just as good as it looked (see pic). You can see how much care they put into presentation (and every dish had this level of attention to detail).
We got to chat with the owner for a couple of minutes when he came by to check on us, which made the experience even nicer.
We’re looking forward to going back. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. If you have never been, you should try it. It does get busy around 6-8:30pm, peak time. Our wait for our table wasn’t too bad, and we were thoroughly satisfied and impressed with the service. The chef/owner even came to our table and asked us how our meals were, nice touch!
Definitely will revisit this restaurant!
We really enjoyed the Mediterranean fusion appetizers, and the main courses are quite generous. The desserts are excellent as well. The atmosphere is cozy, private, and effortlessly relaxed, making it a great place to enjoy a meal.
