Eckle’s let me down today. I ordered the large Oxtail and it had so much fat. I understand that they also have to sell the fatty pieces, but please don’t give me every single piece with fat. The meat to fat ratio was pretty much 50/50.

My partner and I visited here yesterday for the first time. We ordered the stew snapper and an oxtail plate. The fish had a delicious flavor but was a tad bit dry. The oxtails were not a favorite either, we have definitely had better. The service was top tier and the restaurant itself had a good vibe, reminded me of back home. We also ordered the goat soup, the flavor was absolutely delicious. We would still be back to visit to try their other selections even though this time was not a complete success.

The stew beef was dry an had mostly fat on it ,the plantains were gross looking all gooey the cabbage looked like coleslaw an the cornbread was sooooo small they should’ve been ashamed to put that with someone’s food… for the price the portions were small… never again waste of money
