Stopped here to grab something to eat on our way to San Luis Obispo, the tri tip and Tuna sandwiches are delicious , also go the chicken tortilla soup and cream of broccoli soup which was just as tasty.

We stopped by this sandwich shop for lunch before hitting the road. The sandwiches were delicious, reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. Everyone was so polite and friendly, and the bathroom was very clean. I’ll definitely stop by again on my next Solvang trip!

This sandwich shop just opened a couple weeks ago. My 1st visit to the shop and I had the classic Turkey sandwich. The sourdough bread was soft and light, where some sourdough bread can be strong. More sandwiches to try for sure… Bread and Board is located on Avenue of the Flags next Gino’s pizza. Go 4 it

Bread and Board is a new sandwich place between Gino’s and Mother Hubbards on Avenue of the Flag. It is a really well done venue. They have plenty of seating with a bar serving beer on tap. The decor is modern and warm with wood and leather accents. The venue is spotless too!
I stopped by about 11 and they were already fielding orders from folks who had already ordered by phone. I had a Rueben. If you are a “Rueben” person and expecting a NY deli Rueben this isn’t the place. But for me all the flavor and taste were there and the toasting was perfection. The service was quick and the ingredients fresh.
As a local, I’ve been keeping my eye on this spot to see who would fill it. I like the parking as it is easy in and out unlike some of the spots off of the 246 drag. Welcome Bread & Board, glad to see you in town!
