I have been here a handful of times and the food has always been pretty good. It is standard Tex-Mex fare which is one of my favourites. I normally get a and on my most recent visit I had the carlitos, a large dos exis amber, and a fried for desert. For a large , a large , and a desert, I spent about 40$ including the tip which isn’t too bad in this day and age for a sit-down restaurant. I honestly regret that I had not come back sooner because it had been some years since my last visit. I highly recommend trying Mi Jalisco in North Side, you won’t be disappointed.

Favorite Mexican restaurant around here. Have ordered take out from here and Ashland location. The quesabirria tacos are delicious. Tried the chorizo chicken dish w rice and beans tonight, and that quickly went to favorite. Nice portion sizes, and the food hasn’t let me n my family down.

we had lunch there and it was great. i had the pollo feliz and it was really really good. comes with refried beans and spanish rice plus three tortillas. my wife had the steak mi jalisco. she loved it. it comes with refried beans and spanish rice plus three tortillas. my stepson had the cazuelon. really liked it and ate it all except his gaucamole salad which my wife ate.server was good and friendly too. prices are very reasonable too .

Hands down the tastiest Mexican food — especially the paradilla and horchata — my wife and I have had since moving to the RVA area from California! And the portions are HUGE, too!

Mi Jalisco is still my favorite Mexican restaurant in Richmond. They just renovated to add more tables. Moved the bar back and put in renovated bathrooms. Their white sauce with the chips is on point. I love their Burrito California and Spanish Rice. So great! Definitely come check it out!
