***The Google food photos are all fake for this restaurant (if you look carefully, they are posted by DoorDash and not real customers)***. I was drawn to this restaurant because the photos looked incredible. I unfortunately was scammed from stock images.
First, they served my child boxed Kraft mac and cheese and had the nerve to call it “so elegantly simple, it struts down the culinary catwalk with an air it sophistication.” Hilarious. You can clearly see those noodles are the same as the Kraft ones and it unfortunately tasted worse than that.
Next, I ordered a sampler meal. It was a great value for the one appetizer, one dessert, and two smaller portioned entrees. I reallyyyy was willing to look past the kid’s mac and cheese until the adult meals came in.
Every part of this meal under-delivered. Our appetizers were room temperature. My fish was overcooked and questionably frozen and not fresh cuts of fish. They were too rectangular and uniform in presentation (fresh fish would not present this way) and were fishy in taste. My husband’s shrimp pasta was overcooked as well. I see previous reviews of undercooking so I suppose they were over-compensating for previous errors.
The creme brulee did not even have a torched sugar coat on it. It appears like they torched the marshmallow and skipped the sugar altogether. Creme brulee is usually egg based even if it is chocolate. This was pudding with cookie crumbles on top and a room temperature toasted marshmallow. You should not be able to call this creme brulee.
The ambiance overall was fine minus the bathroom being literally in the kitchen. The waitress was excellent and attentive… But I wasn’t drawn to this place by those factors. I came for the food and I’ve never felt so turned off by a meal in my life.
If I didn’t have two kids in tow and if we weren’t exhausted from a day of driving, we would’ve walked out. While we finished the meal for the sake of getting our kids to bed, I will never recommend this establishment to anyone. This was the worst introduction to Hilton Head as our first meal in town.
Do not be scammed.

We decided to pop in on a whim and no regrets at all!! We biked here from our resort and were quickly seated for brunch. Kirk took great care of us and even when as far as to offer to fill our waterbottles for the bike back. Food was FANTASTIC and so reasonably priced, especially for the island. I recommend doing mimosas for brunch as you can’t go wrong with the flavors and they were only 4$!

The service was amazing and the food was even better. The portion sizes are more than enough. We had to get carry our containers. The hubby had the veal and I had the shrimp and pesto pasta. We will definitely eat here again. We were in town for a quick weekend getaway.

The food and staff were exceptional. This was our first time visiting and couldn’t not be more satisfied. They went out of their way to make our food, my birthday, and our experience outstanding. We will definitely become regulars. We eat all over, both on and off the island and highly recommend Sea Grass Grille.

Visited for Dinner on May 31, my wife and I went there for our 20th anniversary. We were sat in a far corner, we had requested a quiet table and it was, but near the kitchen. We have been going to the Sea Grass off and on for many years. We absolutely love their Tomato Pie and have bought many whole pies for gifts, brunches, etc. We ordered a nice wine, and a Tomato Pie appetizer. Bread was brought to the table and included a couple very good biscuits and a couple french bread slices. None was left! The App came and we were both a little disappointed at the pie, as it was somewhat cold, not piping hot as we have experienced in the past. Regardless, the flavor was as good as usual. The salads that came before our entree were very fresh and good as expected. My wife ordered the Filet and I had the Veal Scallopini. The filet was cooked to order and came out as expected, it was very good. The veal I have not had in a while, but it was equally as good. One of the things we love about dining at Sea Grass is the variety you get with an entree… from the salad, to the really yummy potato side, and multiple kinds of vegetables, in this case, carrots, green beans, and broccoli. All cooked perfectly. We ended with a Key Lime pie, but I did not capture a photo of that, but it was very good, not a graham cracker crust which I love, but this was more of a dough based crust, still good. Not my favorite crust. All in all, a nice evening.

The food was superb. Our waitress was not very friendly. The wait staff assisting her were great and very courteous. The bathrooms are only accessible by walking directly into the kitchen, which seemed odd to me.

This place is amazing! Don’t even think about it just go and eat here you won’t be disappointed. The service is so genuine and makes you so comfortable and happy. This place will definitely will be a new spot for me.
I had the lamb and it was cooked perfectly and my fiance got the swordfish with Chipotle sauce (not spicy but creamy and savory). We had deserts too I got the soggy cake and oh how satisfying it it was!
Also I was especially pleased that the mixed vegetables that come with the dinners are not that gross frozen mixture I always dread but they were fresh, roasted and delicious.
