The clerk was very experienced. Made comedy Understood everything we needed and even offered a medium bowl as suggestion and very knowledgeable about food. If there was a six star, we will give it for even seven Stars. This is my favorite restaurant that I had to get chance to come out there and eat there. Normally we go to Subway but I wanted to try something different. It is the best vegetarian and non quick bite, Grab it ,Snack kind of restaurant ,excellent service, today 19th Nov 2025 the lady who served me was an expert, we ate between 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Went in for takeout. I couldn’t locate the to go area as it wasn’t well marked and was in an odd spot. So stood in line for a while until I saw a shelf that was maybe it. My food was ready, but my sweet tea wasn’t with the order. The food was ok. Bread for the club sandwich was cheap thin bread, and the sandwich was kind of falling apart. Not bad but not great. The chicken tortilla soup really had hardly any chicken. For $16 I could have gotten more and better food elsewhere.

First time to get literally inedible food. Veggie Spud had obviously been sitting, already made, for a LONG time. Skin was burnt and hard as a rock. The only vegetable that was identifiable was broccoli. Rest of the veggies were the slimy skin part only. Majority of what cheese sauce that was on it, was the bottom of the pan burnt chewy brown stuff you’d throw out. Pics of burnt cheese, veggie slime, and potato skin that literally separated from itself. I did takeout and should have known something was wrong when I got 2 potatoes, the other was equally disgusting, and soup in 10-12 minutes. Didn’t check order because #1-always previously had great food when dining in, and #2 I live out of town. $29 with tip wasted..

I feel awful for the girls at the counter, having to deal with Boomers + who stand in line for 10 minutes, who cannot make a decision, and don’t have their wallet out to pay. This makes a simple two minute transaction turn into a 15minute ordeal….
The patience I witnessed today was nothing short of epic.
Food was great too.

After writing my above review, I watch a boomer argue with the manager about an expired coupon. If the owner of this establishment looks this review over, please consider giving the girls at the counter a raise, or some vacation days.

So, I almost ate an entire piece of deli paper that was stuck to the cheese in my sandwich. My pregnant self almost puked after noticing. No more sandwich for me. Everything was so expensive for what I got, and honestly, I can make much better sandwiches at home. The kids pizza tasted like frozen pizzas you can purchase at Walmart. My kiddo didn’t mind, but seriously? Why has everything gone downhill? Even the sweet tea wasn’t as good as it used to be.

We went to this place after being on road all day from central Illinois and went in ordered the choose 2 and got the half spuds and upgraded soups my wife got a spud and asked for extra green onions and I got a chipotle spud I got chilli and she got the Broccoli cheddar once we got our food we started to eat the soups and noticed both was only luke warm mind you it was 8pm
And the extra onions we asked for wasn’t there so I had went up and asked for more and let the guy know our soups wasn’t warm at all he asked if we want them remade and warmed up I said yes please so they brought us smalls after ordering large and yes it was warmed up ..
At this point I went to eat the spud and noticed that there was blue berrys in mine pictures attached.. I then asked the girl if they made them with blue berrys and she said well no and I was like okay just asking ..
At that point they was behind counter laughing making fun of the fact I asked about the blue berrys and I then over heard a guy say yeah he said the soup wasn’t warm either so at this point we went up and got to go stuff and just left to eat our food at the hotel cause we felt embarrassed and humiliated by the employees for making fun of us for complaining so instead of asking for a refund I will call in morning .. this is not how customers should feel especially after paying almost $40 for their meals at the end of the day, we are paying your guys’s wages management needs to train you guys better shame on you

I love McCalisters but the last 5 orders they’ve messed something up. Added things that were requested taken off, missing items and this time I got a salad with no dressing even after she asked me if I wanted what goes with it and onions when I asked for none. On top of that the place smelled like dirty mop water. I’ve worked in food establishments and know what it smells like when the mop water doesn’t get changed. It was an unpleasant smell while waiting to eat. It’s been very disappointing when this used to be one of my favorite places to go.
